yeah i wouldn't mind eagles.hey vanthaman do u have a ronaldo video against chelsea?

My lineup:

------Carroll-------
Gaz-Brown-Spector-JOS
Eagles-Kleb-Butt-Ron/Rich
----Forlan---Ole----

Bench: Williams, Bardsley, Djemba, Fletcher, Bellion

Rest Howard, Giggs, Keane, Ruud, Scholes, Phil, Micky to save them for the FAC final. Treat this match as league cup affair. Let Butt start his last league match with United. Give Kleb a run to gear him up for next weekend. Bring on Djemba last 20 mins if protecting a lead or bring on Fletcher and Bellion if needing a goal to win or draw. Maybe give Bardsley a few minutes late for Gaz or Brown. Of course, might need Phil on the bench in case JOS goes down as there is no other LB on the bench (unless Spector could play there). Could start Richardson at LW and rest Ron for FAC final.

SAF will want to give the cup final team a run out:

Howard
Gazza Wes Mickey Sheasy
Ronnie Phill Keano Giggsy
Scholsey
Ruud

After twelve years of glorious service and an important role in winning the Champions League final, not to mention 6 league titles, etc:

How could you leave Nicky Butt out of the team in his final Premiership game for the club he has supported all his life?

The man deserves this at least.

good point. Id put him in instead of Phill then

Personally I'd play Nicky with Keano put Phil at left back & drop the very disappointing O'Shea. I'd also keep that combination for the cup final.

Me - I do not want to see Nicky go he is still a better midfielder than Phill Djemba2 & Kleb (although he could come on in a more attacking role later on in games).

We must play our cup final team at Villa so Saha goes sub as well

I have a feeling that the game will be shown live on sky. Final day they normally put games on each 3 channels at the same time and premiership plus. They haven't released what games they'll show yet but there's a possibility. Liverpool Vs Newcastle will be on 1 of the channels though.

no live or taped games for we lots in Canada....
they are showing the scousers game instead!!

Keane left out. :(

Olof Mellberg returns to boost Villa's defence after missing the game at Southampton with flu.

But there are doubts over first-choice strike pair Juan Pablo Angel (knee) and Darius Vassell (hamstring).

Roy Keane has been left out of the Manchester United squad in the hope he will recover from a hamstring injury in time for the FA Cup fial.

Otherwise, Sir Ferguson will be able to fulfil his promise of fielding a full-strength team.

Aston Villa (from): Sorensen, De La Cruz, Mellberg, Johnsen, Samuel, Solano, Barry, McCann, Hitzlsperger, Vassell, Angel, Dublin, Whittingham, Cooke, L Moore, Ridgewell, Postma.

Man Utd (from): Howard, Carroll, G Neville, P Neville, Brown, Silvestre, O'Shea, Fletcher, Butt, Scholes, Ronaldo, Djemba-Djemba, Giggs, Saha, van Nistelrooy, Kleberson, Solskjaer, Forlan, Bellion.

With the league’s race over I believe that we should rest many first teamers for the FA final and use this unique occasion to give a closer look to those players that we rarely give them space while introducing new talent and see what they can produce. On the other hand, you cannot expect the new fledglings to shine if our team isn’t strong enough to compete, therefore a sort of balance need to be taken

My team would be (4 – 2 – 3 – 1)

GK: Roy Carroll

Defense: Phil ------Gaz----------Spector--------Oshea (I would rest our central backs as we lack of experienced back up for them. Phil should be utilized on the right giving space to Gaz as central defender (and leader), with O Shea on the left and new golden boy Spector as CB)

Midfield: Eagles------Djemba--------Kleberson---------Butt---------Forlan. (I would go for a defensive minded midfield with the attacking options being Eagles (RW) Kleberson (CM) and Forlan (LW)

Attack: Ole (backed by Forlan Ole will be tested as lone striker)
