That red card was slightly harsh. It was a 1 footed tackle, not 2 footed. One of his feet took the ball and a bit of the man but it should definitely have been a yellow. The ref must not have seen the tackling in the merseyside derby. I think we should appeal that sending off but im not sure we will win it. The FA dont like us already.

If we don't appeal, Nani will still be able to play against Milan and will be available for Wolves on March 6. Valencia will obviously take his spot back which will cushion the blow. Scholes has done it several times throughout his carear. The ball was there to be won, he won it clearly. At most it was a yellow, but considering the challenges that were being done at the weekend, to give that a red was laughable.
You simply can't make a sliding challenge in football anymore without you being penalised by an anal referee. Sad times
