Aston Villa vs. Manchester United

Playing Scholes from the start is one epic feck up by Fergie, and not his first this season. I know criticizing Fergie isn't on, but at what point do we question his judgement? It seems sentimentality is getting the better of him.

Carrick and particular Scholes have had a nightmare. I really thought it was the wrong game to put him back in the side. It should have been a home game. He would have had a field day against arse last week.

If the last game and this one aren't the final straws in Scholes and Giggs starting games in the United midfield then we have some pretty serious problems.

How many times must Fergie hamstring the side. Scholes is finished. We will not win this game.

To be fair, we've shown that it's too easy to win when down by both one and two goals. We might not start playing until we're 3 goals down at the moment.

More strikers, put on welbeck and bring on ando too.

Take Scholes off ffs, in no way will he help us get a come back. Cleverley or Anderson can "run" the game better then he has. The one thing Scholes has over our midfielders is passing but the others are better in pretty much every other regard.

This is tragic. It's like we either can't really be arsed playing, or we have seven players who have taken valium

Barring them going down to 9 men, i can't see a way out of this.
We haven't even started responding yet.

Criticizing him for decisions like this line-up is surely ok. Its when that criticism turns into "SAF OUT" people need to get a grip. There is no one manager who is faultless over the course of an entire season.
