Like I said it doesnt bother me. I have known diving as long as I have watched football. Its not very nice but its not going to stop.
I have learned to accept it is part and parcel of the game. It happens in all leagues (some more than others) and in International football.

The annoying thing is the media will hardly mention this at all. They'll go on and on about Messi (and his goals were amazing, to be fair), but they won't mention all the diving and cheating. Now imagine if Rooney had been doing all of that yesterday, the headlines would be full of it and everyone would be analysing it constantly.

I was at a Dylan Moran gig, so I didn't arrive at the pub until 40 minutes or so into the first half, at which point they were showing some sort of highlight reel while there was a stoppage. It mostly contained people pretending to be hurt in the face. I was instantly filled with a naive belief that we (or Schalke!) will stroll the final because the universe won't allow evil to prevail.

Some teams have a player that might indulge in antics like that from time to time, Nani for instance for United, but Barca are unique case in the sense that their behaviour seems to be a team plan.
Looking back, that was pretty strong. They are a brilliant football team, I was just really shocked by what I saw today. I knew they did this sort of stuff a bit, but that game just then was ridiculous! Still, it was hardly the most awful, dreadful, terrible thing ever...
