Barcelona - a lot of moaning about them and some praise

To be honest I'd fed up of the subject.

* As I've said many times, Barcelona are the best team in the World, I also think they are probably the best team ever.

* I fecking hate that they dive/fake injury and generally act like complete cnuts, especially in El Clasico. I also hate that Madrid have their own way of acting like complete cnuts in El Clasico. I think it's completely utter despicable and would feckING HATE my team to do the same.

* I really respect that in both Champions League finals, Barcelona acted gracefully and completely showed us up.

Apparently writing the above on a United board now makes me "bitter", what a complete bunch of fannies you lot are.

4) I think most United fans wouldn't swap our entire team for Barcelona's, for obvious reasons that are not related to ability or diving.

I wasn't talking player by player. I was asking if the whole Barca team was offered to us as one package, with the goods and the bads, would we take it because we would improve our team's chances for success and because we'd love to see our team play beautiful football, or would we reject it because "some of them dive"? Which would be more important for us?

Not sure I need to clarify this though..

Both of ya are close buddies when it comes to Berba. Randall likes a moan about quite a few things though :p

Marcos, if given the choice, would you swap United's squad for Barcelona's?

Some questions are so stupid it defies belief, why on Earth would I want to read a blog when I can actively try to enlighten a person here as to how retarded a question that is?

sure, i want titles, and i think the barcelona team is better than ours

and i'm only loyal to whom is loyal to me

so why should i stay loyal to rooney? specially him,

or vidic, ferdinand, evra, carrick, berbatov and every other footballer in manchester that was bought from other club?

what? they werent loyal to their former club, but they will be loyal for us?

or do you think that given the proper amount of money they will leave us with no problem?

as i said, i want gold, silver, tin, and wood

What about Scholes,Giggs,Cleverley and Welbeck?

The example of a massive derby between bitter rivals where they are both cnuts to degrade a team is a bit off. I didnt see much bull shit from Barca in either match against United, or even when United beat them over two legs, they didn't moan about that.

They have there bad eggs but even a good player who doesnt dive or cheat can be dragged into it in a match as emotionally charged as against your bitter rivals.

what? why not? didn't we ever sell a player that comes from the youth sistem?

beckham, neville, want me to go on?

Those players are part of the fabric of this club. Trophies aren't everything. Its not about just assembling the best players in the world, it's about bringing them up with the history of the club and the way we try to play football, the United spirit. It's about achieving success based on the fruits of our own labour.

i see ... and beckham and phill neville werent part of fabric of this club? they were

and did we sell them? we did

and we sold so many players that you could say that were part of the fabric of this club

What a pointless discussion based on a ridiculous hypothetical situation. Anyway 90% of our squad would move to Barca if they were given the chance, so I don't think they should expect our undying loyalty. People need to bear in mind that these players are also payed ridiculous amount of money for the loyalty. We can also easily buy players that can become part of the fabric of the club.

Just look at Cantona, Keane and Evra.

I think you're just being deliberately contradicting. I don't think if it was offered to you, you would swap our entire squad for Barcas. I also think you realise that there is more to our club than winning trophies and having the best players. Anyways if I am wrong, you are entitled to your opinion. It's friday night and I'm gonna go get wasted and laid. Have fun on the interwebs you Argie bastard ;)

have fun mate! see you tomorrow in the matchday thread? :)

Funny to say to someone living in Africa. Just wouldn't have thought of a situation where someone would say it.

Average age of the poster in this thread before my post: 12.

Now: 25.

Having a life doesn't really mean "quality of life". Having a life means having a REAL life, in which somebody has friends, family, work, real people to talk with, real people to beat, real people to love...etc.

I'm sorry that you totally missed the point. Don't take it too seriously. Nothing was meant by it. I just found it a bit humorous.

No problem. With the kind of posters we're dealing with here, you'd expect everything.. Just look at the posts below yours..

They should just close this thread. Not a lot of sense it in or rational discussions. I don't even remember any funny moments either.

Valencia - Barcelona!

How much have they paid the referee and the linesman? Worst decision ever! Unbelievable. I give up!

what happened? just turned it on and i see valencia is winning 1-0

Soldado was free, he tried to nudge the ball past Pinto, who dived and saved it with his hand outside the area, but it wasnt given.

I know this is off topic, and probably silly, but I don't care because I hate seeing this thread title.

"Facing Barcelona is the ultimate test because they are the best team in the world. Afterwards you need a week to recover because your concentration has been allconsuming, and therefore it's utterly exhausting. Barca play the sort of football I aspire to, the sort that anybody who plays the game, and really knows the game, would like to emulate."
