Why is everybody acting surprised. Barcelona are barcelona, they play keep ball - let them. Its 1-1. Its been a heck of a half and they will tire. We have a game plan and I reckon we are still on plan. Have faith in SAF. He didn't pick 3 midfielders on the subs bench just for the heck if it.

On the plus side, Ive been delighted with carrick and how he has broken up barce's play on many an occasion. And the Barce goal aside, Rio & Vidic have been supreme. Messi still to have a major impact.

I thought Carrick was decent. He made himself available whenever we had the ball and he had some good one-touch passes.

Didn't really notice Giggs or Valencia.

I'd say, Move Giggsy to LW, We need a Fletcher so I think we might need to sacrifice someone... Hernandez isn't needed if we're not going to get any possession... Rather Rooney up front and will drop deep to link up, Hopefully Valencia/Giggs can provide a good ball in and hopefully Rooney is lethal enough !

First 10 mins was great...after that we lost our focus.

Us getting the goal was crucial - had we gone in a goal down at half time then the doubts of whether we can be at what is a fantastic Barca side would have surfaced.

I thought the game was much more even after we scored.

Biggest thing is we need to take any chance we get - as there will not be many.

Would love to see Nani and Anderson on for Valencia and Giggs.

Noones surprised at them having so much of the ball rather at space we've given them on some attacks. This is one team that you can't afford to give that kind of space, really.

I have one word for this second half. Please. Please please fecking please.

Yeah, dont understand why we dont slow the game down and play keep ball for a whole ourselves. On countless occasions, whether it was Park, VDS or carrick, we get the ball and then far too quickly, try to play the quick long ball up to Hernandez. Would be nice for us to play the game at our pace when we are in possession.

You have to be careful not to press them too much otherwise they'll just pass the ball and leave you behind the play. It's all about timing./

Barca created so many freakin' chances. They are incredibly wasteful. We are lucky converting our only chance.

Hopefully Ferguson has a couple of tricks up his sleeve, because if the second half is anything like the first half, then we're in big trouble.
