Barnsley vs. Manchester United

Hume's scar

Shit decision by the ref. It was a perfectly good tackle.

Owen off for De Laet.

How can that be a red? The ref surely saw that Gaz kicked the ball first. Yellow for leaving the studs in but a straight red?

was it a stright red ?
If it was I think it will be 3 games.
It was a bad tackle so he had to go.

Having watched the replay there, the foot was high and studs were up. He won the ball initially, started to lower his foot, and then put it back up again. It looked intentional to be honest.

 That was a red card every day of the week. If that'd been one of their players on our lads you'd be saying it was a red.

De Laet is lucky. Does he not realise we're a man down and don't need to fecking attack like that.

Nah, watch the replay. He wins the ball, grand, starts to lower his studs but deliberately puts them back up again. It looks intentional, whether or not it was is only for Neville to know.

deserved red to be fair, anyway let's just get through this.

No, it wasn't. He followed through with the studs up. Clear red. Stupid by Neville.

What do you expect him to do, quickly swing his leg 5 inches to the side within 0.003 seconds of having got the ball so to avoid the player?

Football is a contact sport, sometimes players will take knocks. It's not as if the follow through was intentional.
