Barnsley vs. Manchester United

Our defense is really shaky.

Barnsley could have scored 3 easily.

Foster the weakest link.

Barnsley's finishing :lol::lol:

It that foul had been on a united player, it would have been pay on. It wasn't like keane's foul, he didn't collect he very squarely, it barely grazed him.

It was for the intent as well.

Stupid tackle - the kind that could really injure someone if you're unlucky.

Can't argue with the red.

Foster could do with making a few wonder saves to get his confidence back.

Foster give me a break

Foster?

The ball bounced yards outside the box. Did you want him to run out and catch it.

It was Evans fault for thinking the ball would carry into the box.

This witchunt on Foster by United fans is disgusting.

No I wouldnt it was harsh ,a yellow at worst

You can't tackle like that. That's leg breaking stuff. And what is the point leaving your studs up like that after already having won the ball? It was a red. I thought it was harsh when I first saw it, after seeing the replays though, correct decision.

You're either blind or don't know the rules. Dangerous tackle like that = red card.

he got the ball and caught him in the follow up. The pitch is clearly slippery.

It's not like he caught him on purpose. Was his ball to begin with.

Honestly Barnsley should have scored almost 5 today.

So many close chances for them.

Fostering resentment

What do you expect him to do, quickly swing his leg 5 inches to the side within 0.003 seconds of having got the ball so to avoid the player?

Football is a contact sport, sometimes players will take knocks. It's not as if the follow through was intentional.

Getting the ball isn't a 'get of jail free', you can't do whatever you want so long as you win the ball

His studs were showing and it was high on the guys shin

This, this, and this.

It was Evans' fault for misjudging the flight of the ball if anything.

Did you even see the replay? Neville's foot is heading downwards after he's won the ball, he then lifts the foot again to catch him studs up. Correct decision and fecking stupid by Neville.

Oh c'mon, he left the leg in mate, no doubt.

was the player hammill .. ex dipper .. neviller knew what he was doing

He started to lower his leg and then raised it back up again as he was about to make contact. It has nothing to do with a slippery pitch.

oh come on please .just admit that he was wrong and deserved the red.
The intent was there and he knew what he was doing , if he had wanted to he could of moved the foot.
Yes he did get the ball first ,but the follow though was bad and could of broke his leg.
