Keane thought they weren't so much clumsy as deliberate. He doesn't get sent off as much as Keano, so I think he's fine. We've got to win the midfield battle, especially carrying Veron.

He has an insight into the player's minds that we can't have. I agree with him on this point (not all). I don't think that punching or elbowing a player is a good idea, as it gets you sent off, but some tough tackles are fine by me.
