Unless Fergie's tactics include no movement to set up passing options for the players with the ball, or players moving forward without the ball, no, it's not about tactics, or formations.

Carrick is as good passer as Pirlo but he tackles better. Kinell.

with a 4-4-2 we would stop their fullbacks getting forward as much and would obviously cause their centre backs more problems. We have to ease the pressure.
 
Rooney has spent most of his time defending. SAF really needs to change things around to get him into the game
 
absolute awful to watch, our passing is rubbish. We can't even offer any sort of attacking threat at all.
 
The first half was all a charade to catch them off guard in the second half. Just watch...you heard it here first.

What we need is to take off Scholes of Carrick and put Fletcher on. Fletcher is far better at the hard stuff than any of our midfielders. O'Shea will constantly get found out for the idiot that he is in central midfield. But at least with Fletcher telling him what to do we stand a chance.

We need Fletcher guys... Take Carrick off, put Fletcher on the right. Put O'Shea next to him, and Scholes and Ronaldo on the left side. Play Rooney and Saha upfront.

Problem solved. Fletcher will stop anything coming down the right, pushing all their play down the left. Then we can simply counter attack with Ronnie/Saha and Rooney, because atm Saha simply can't get a pass.

We have to get Carrick or Scholes off as they can't put challenges in, which is allowing Benefica (the diving cnuts) to roll through us.

Yep, Ferguson is clueless about tactics. His record shows this.

The players are not doing their jobs. It's that simple.
