Benitez to Chelsea Discussion & Sack watch

Torres, Miereles and now Benitez. Only one more visit to Anfield left for Abramovich.

Buy Gerrard for £35million. Come on Roman, you know you want to! All your fans want you to! :)

Eden Hazard (January 2011) : With all respect to Chelsea, I'd rather join a club with history and passion like Arsenal or Liverpool.
Joins Chelsea in 2012.

Fernando Torres (in 2010) : I love Liverpool. I'm staying at this club till the end of my career. I can't even think of playing for another club, especially from England.
Joins Chelsea in 2011.

Juan Mata (in 2009) : My favorite English team? Arsenal. They're the best in London and in England.
Joins Chelsea in summer of 2011.

Rafa Benitez (in 2007) : We don't need to give away plastic flags to our fans to wave - our supporters are always there with their hearts and that is all we need. Its the passion of the fans that helps us to win matches - not flags (speaking on Chelsea fans waving flags).
Is now the Manager of Chelsea

Rafa led the league by 15 points against you lot (when you had Tevez, Ronaldo and Rooney), then proceeded to throw it all away by going defensive and letting you catch up. He lost my support completely that season and I fought tooth and nail to break your KRAP campaign. #notafan

Hopefully Juan Mata is looking forward to his reward of getting dropped for a big game the week after he produces a performance of his life.

He didn't lead the league by 15 points at any stage.

I think he's overrated by Liverpool fans and bit underrated by United fans.p

What was the biggest gap we had in that season, I'm sure it was in double figures regardless of your games in hand.

Completely agree with your second sentence.

I'll be gobsmacked that's for sure. I reckon he'll keep them in CL spots which was way beyond RDM #flukeymanager.

He had a good team that year thats for sure. Certainly looked like giving us a go whilst we had big distractions in the League Cup and a harder Champions League group than usual (cough), plus the Club World Cup and the Super Cup.

Distractions. He couldnt finish the job.

Best News all night, even better than City not qualifying for the knockout stages

The PL needed some manager for SAF to have a real conflict with. Its been a bit boring since him and Wenger went all fuzzy wuzzy.

SAF tried it with mancini and we ended up having the most epic meltdown ever last year.

Having SAF pick on Rafa is no fun...i'd hope for SAF to sharpen his knives for mancini and force him to meltdown as that would actually be more beneficial to us currently.
