If we don't see him before Jan first, I reckon he's gone. I thought he was a shoe in to play on the weekend. Shit QPR, him being fine physically, but Chic gets the nod over him.
I hope that he gets some game time tonight against Fulham, he should be partnered alongside Wellbeck, give Rooney a bit of a break.

Why would we randomly give Rooney a 'break' in this tough fixture tonight? We're going to need him. I would like to see Berbatov featuring more often, but that will have to happen in the right games, and tonight isn't a good game to simply throw him back into the deep end. I agree that we could possibly give him a game when we're at home to Wigan on Saturday, though.
I'd drop Welbeck for this game.

I'd start him with Hernandez against Wigan. Rotate the frontline like we used to do in 99 the last time we had 4 proper class strikers.

There is no need to start him with Rooney and Welbeck in form for the sake of rotation. We can rest Rooney and Welbeck in the UEFA Cup games.
That all depends on which other changes we maybe forced to make. If Rio misses the game, and with Jones out, and Young out, I don't think SAF should mess too much more with the team. Our CL campaign showed how damaging that can be.

If anything we could maybe change one forward.

Typical striker, with a bit of confidence he plays with instinct and it comes naturally to him. One touch to turn, and a classic toe poke to blast it past the keeper.

I think we're on for another five against Blackburn.
Im happy for his hat-trick. the best thing about his performance today was that he was quick to release the ball, fed his team mates in the right times and took a gamble with few shots when it was the best option. It's like non-Bebratov display at all
