Besiktas JK vs. Manchester United

atleast rooney isnt played wide...... so its not all bad... we should win comfortably...

Yes we should win, but we could score more if we just start to play the best we can, and it's been quite obvious to me that lately we play our best football when we play 2 strikers.

feck off

the one striker i thought would get a rest plays and the two i wanted to get a game dont

well done sir fergie

guess a midfielder and rooney will go off for berba and owen inthe second half then

shame gibson didnt start

I was hoping to see Berba but considering we are away from home i can see why SAF opted for a 451

I sure hope Rio doesn't have any more set-backs... I'm not bitching about him not starting but he should be on the bench if he's fit...

like the team looking forward to this lads come on united!!!!!!

I thought this would have been on ITV1 but no.

Good team and we will win 4 nil

It's basically the formation vs Arsenal when we got out played. Besiktas are obviously a worse side, we could've easily started two strikers.

But we are going away to a country where the fans always get behind their team, i think SAF has done the right thing to try and contain them at the start - because their fans will give them a real lift in the begining, then bring on the big guns later on. Truth be told i reckon that team is more than able to beat them anyway...

I hope Anderson can keep his form. He was excellent against Tottenham.

Good team, could be a tougher test than it looks on paper with their hostile reception, although we could just go out and slaughter them.

I'm just bothered about Rooney playing as a lone striker when he clearly isn't one. It seems like Fergie has gone ahead with playing Rooney as a striker every game this season which is great but it doesn't mean he'll play with another striker which is the problem.
