Best world cup ever

Russia 2018 was pretty special, considering the number of unexpected results. We had England finally winning on penalties, and the introduction of VAR which made a lot of headlines in group stage. Proper fun stuffs.

The way they were hyping up a Messi vs Ronaldo next round, only for them BOTH to get eliminated in the previous round was kinda hilarious.

Let's not forget Lingard's "Mom, I'm not going home. It's..." cringy stuff too.

1998 - The World Cup

The cup of life still gives me goosebumps.

I still to this can't figure out what is that bird on the logo though.

USA '94 for me, but I think that's because I was 13 years old and was at the perfect age to absolutely dive into a tournament. Plus, because England hadn't even qualified, there was no worry or heartbreak (though I'm pretty sure I cried when Romania were knocked out)

This needs a bump.

This world cup will rank very highly, better than 98 i say even.
