I hope Saha gets a start and Ruud gets a break to rest his knee! I'm starting to wonder though who would be better - Howard or Caroll.....thoughts?

I like this line-up. But I think Caroll deserved a place too. May be Keane will be rested as well.

Aye I like that one too, If Ruuds out.

But wheres Ole? Would probably realistically start in place of Ronaldo who isnt usually started on aways like this.

Hopefully Fletcher will get a start in the center. It'll be interesting to see how he does after his display against Arsenal.

I think Howard will get the start. SAF told him he would sit for three any more than that, it really could be a blow to Howard's confidence.

Ole-------Scholsi-------Giggs

----------Ruud------------

Bench:
Phizza
Fletch
Ronnie
Howard
Saha or Bellion

This will keep Fletch and Ronnie hungry.
Ole needs games.
Carroll should get another game, he really deserves it !

Didn't think this deserves it's own thread but didn't know where else to post so i'll just stick this in here.

Chelsea Kick-Off Changed

United's final home game of the season against Chelsea will be screened live on Sky Sports.

The game will still go ahead on Saturday May 8, but will now kick-off at 12.30pm.

With Arsenal seemingly home and dry in the race for the Premiership title, the Blues' visit to Old Trafford could well determine which side finishes second at the end of the season.

Anybody think Keano will be given this one off (or at least start from the bench)? I mean after two battles with Viera in a row, I'm sure SAF is thinking of giving him a break.

He should play he's had a weeks rest between these games !

What would that do to Carrolls confidence though ?

I see where you are coming from. Carroll has shown what he can do, but he knew going in that it would be 3 matches. If Howard slips, Carroll has shown that he can fill that role, it will be motivation for both of them to stay in top form. I mean if Ruud was given 3 matches off and Saha scored 6 goals in those 3 matches, would you want Ruud to sit when he came back while Saha kept playing?

Ok i say:

-------------Howard-----------

-Gaz----Wes------Silv------JOS

-Ronaldo---Keane--Djemba--Giggs

-----------------Scholes--------

--------------Saha--------------

Subs:

Carrol
Ole
Phil
Bellion
Ruud (NO FORLAN)

This squad gives us a tough midfield with great width. Scholes and Saha have been playing a treat wen on together so with Scholes filling in the pocket service shud be enuth for Saha to score his fair share. The defence that stood up tall to the Gooners will hopefully stay firm. With Wes putting in another match winning performance.

There Keyman is undoubtebly Forrsell but if Wes and Mikky can hold out Reyes, Henry, Bergkamp we shud be strong against Chelsea's best striker :)

----------------Carroll---------------------
-Gary------Wes--------Silvestre-----O'Shea-
---------------Djemba Twins--------------
Ole---------- Scholes--------------- Giggs
-----------Saha---Ruud-----------

Subs
Phill
Keane
Bellion
Ronaldo
Howard

A nice and attacking formation.

Ruud apparently could be rested to give him time to recover from his knee problem. :(

I go for this line-up

Carroll

G Neville--------Silvestre--------Brown--------O'Shea

Ronaldo-------Keane--------Scholes--------Giggs

----------Saha-------Solskjaer-------

Subs: Howard, Phil Neville, Butt, Fletcher, Forlan

I would play Keane cause Brum will be a battle (on and off the pitch) whereas nobody would be surprised to see a severly weakened team for Leicester in midweek.

ruud should be rested for the next 2 games, or his knee will buckle up
howard will play, cos carroll had his 3 games
are strogest team for saturday will be

-----------------------howard--------------------------

g-nevil------------brown----------silvestre-----------o'shea

ronaldo----------scholes-----------keane------------giggs

-----------------ole---------------saha-------------------

bench---------
fletcher
carroll
djemba
forlan
p nevil

but i think fergie should experiment with a young squad a rest some major players

----------------------howard-------------------------

g-nevil------------brown----------silvestre-----------o'shea

bellion------------djemba---------p nevil-------------ronaldo

-----------------kleberson---------------------------------
---------------------------------saha---------------------

Carroll

Gary - Tweety - Wes - Josh

Ole - Djemba - Scholes - Giggs/Ronnie (we'll rest one of them)

Saha - Bellion

Howard
Giggs/Ronnie
P Neville
Keane/Fletcher (completly rest the other one)
Forlan

i think we will rest a few key players like Keane and Ronaldo, and i think Bellion or Butt or Djemba Djemba can come in as cover and Phil Neville is also in contention, Saha should be in the starting line up tommorow Lets hope not too many changed are made we need to keep up the pressure on Chelsea
