Birmingham City v Man Utd

At his best he is outstanding, quite under-rated IMO.

He just has moments in pretty much every game where he chases his own tail or does something stupid. When he gets into bad form then he does this more frequently, thing is, you cant bring him back to good form without playing him.

He is a good player I think, but at the moment id play Wes ahead of him in the first team, as Fergie is doing.

He's very under-rated, at least in this forum.
Almost always his fault when things go wrong in the defense and almost never been praised even if he saved our ass but i agree with you that atm i'd like to see Brown in CB. Two very good games in a row for Brown now.

Rooney's warming up. :nervous:
It's would be silly to play him in this stupid meaningless competition.
As long as we go through, I don't care who plays.

Good thing Pique is not playing tonight. He'd have a nightmare against the physical game and strength of Heskey & Jarosik. Silvestre is not coming up tops against either. Thank god for Brown. Birmingham is cleverly targeting our left side of our defence - Silvestre & Richardson, who is the weak link. They've kept clear of Gary & Brown.

No it wouldn't he has as just as much chance of getting injured in any game and why should he not play in every game if fat frankie can play 150 odd games in a row,

well from what i've seen in the 1st half, united need to stop going like-for-like with the brummies and stop just hoofing the ball.

fletcher (whilst putting in a few good crosses) still seems to get caught on the ball due to his sluggishness. o'shea needs to stop thinking he is the man, and actually do something. the centre of midfield looks weak.

ronaldo needs to basically do what park has been doing.

saha needs to get back to the form of 2 years ago, (when he was good)

howard and brown have done well, silvestre looks shakey.

rossi looks lively and has shown some good touches

Rossi was getting outmuscled for a patch there but I think he's ok as the game wore on. He cleverly try to get away and turn the defenders when he gets the ball. But unfortunately he's in and out of the game so far.

With Martin I think it was a case of Ronaldo needing a reality check and to give Park more pitch time

Didn't really watch the first half so how did Ronaldo play?
From the glances i took, Rossi didn't look like he's involved alot.

Now Rooney is coming on.

Howard, Gary, Brown, Fletcher, Ronaldo & Park are playing well. The rest need to pick up their game.

err..what?! :( Rossi came off!

Saha scored!

From a cross from Ronaldo! :D

Great passage of play leading up to the goal. One touch one touch.
