Can Birmingham repeat what they did against Liverpool? I doubt it tbh...
Brucey Brucey give us a wave.
The team that travels to Birmingham:
Man United (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Pique, Evans, Ronaldo, Hargreaves, Scholes, Carrick, Eagles, Anderson, Nani, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez, Saha.
Reading couldn't repeat against Chelsea what they did against us, so here's hoping.
Good to see Hargreaves back in and around things
our last game against birmingham was 0-0. terrible match that was, i remember in the last 20mins we had saha, ruud, rooney and smith all upfront but we still couldnt create a single chance
Owen Hargreaves could be on the bench for United's Barclays Premier League trip to Birmingham City on Saturday tea-time.
The midfielder has not featured since the 1-0 win over Sunderland at the beginning of this month after picking up a thigh strain whilst on international duty with England.
Sir Alex Ferguson says the 26-year-old has been training well over the last few days and may be included in the squad to face Steve Bruce's men.
"Owen has been doing very well in training and is a consideration for Saturday," revealed the manager at his pre-match press briefing. "He might be a sub or we might decide to hold him back for the Roma game."
Meanwhile, Gary Neville is edging ever closer to a return to action and could play his first match next week.
The Reds' skipper has endured a torrid time since damaging ankle ligaments in March. He has since picked up further minor knocks which have resulted in him missing the opening two months of the current campaign.
But there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel for the right-back.
"Gary is getting closer," insisted Sir Alex. "He has being doing very well in training and I'm hoping to pencil him in for a game at some point next week.
"There is a Reserves match against Liverpool the following week which would be a good introduction to a game situation."

I hope Saha will play, he's got an outstanding record against Birmingham at St Andrews for both us and Fulham. To be honest though I can see him starting on the bench again.
Team will most likely be:
GK: VDS
RB: Brown
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra
RM: Ronaldo
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Giggs
CF: Rooney
CF: Tevez
I reckon even if fit we'll put Hargreaves on the bench, personally I'd put Giggs there as well in preparation for Roma on Tuesday.
I'm going with 0-1 to us, Saha coming off the bench to save us - AGAIN!
I think that's an important consideration.
I think SAF will either play his first choice team and look to sub some of the important players ASAP or drop a few of the important ones for Tuesday, against Roma.
However, after our dismal display in the Carling Cup, I doubt he'll take a chance so I reckon he'll play the full team.

I want the Tevez Rooney partnership to be allowed to grow. The only way that will work is by playing them together. At least that way if it doesn't click on Saturday, we have Saha on the bench.
But IMO we need Rooney/Tevez to work, as Saha will not be able to play every match this season, and judging from the way SAF has used him so far he knows that to. I think Saha will be used sparingly this season, probably mainly from the bench.

So then the question you have to ask is, does our full strength team have Saha in it, in Fergie's eyes?
I and others say that it should, others not. *shrugs*We'll know soon enough.
After what United went through to get Tevez in the summer he will (IMHO), partner Rooney.
SAF is also now using Saha as a supersub.

For anyone who saw the interview with SAF on MUTV he said in regards to Saha starting games it wont be too much longer
So dont expect him to start tomorrow but at least we know he will be starting games sooner or later
We all know how lethal Saha is, is just that Fergie doesn trust his fitness and its using him 20 minutes each game.
Saha is a monster when he is completely fit and on form

But if that is indeed the case, then Fergie is guilty of the very same mental weakness over Saha's fitness, that Louis himself was accused of by some on here.
That's no way to carry on.
You don't usee your one and only No 9, and also the someone who with a run of games under his belt can be as lethal as we saw in the first six months of last season, as a "super-sub".
Maybe i just dont' have the faith in the Rooney-Tevez partnership of some of you, or tht it can click soon enough, but that's how i see it.
