Birmingham v Manchester United

I'm not overly worried about this game. I'm not saying it's in the bag, but I don't feel we should have too difficult a time taking it. All the talk about our away form fails to take into account that we haven't played an away match since November 13th. Our overall form, and in particular the return to form of Carrick and Anderson, and the return of Rooney to the lineup, has significantly improved over the last six weeks.

I can see Fletcher being put in for Carrick because he played the 90, but I'd be surprised if the defense was changed at all, bar maybe Ferdinand, because that's one element SAF doesn't rotate unless he absolutely has to.

Here's hoping...

I can see us going a goal behind to be honest. Birmingham at home is a tough game. However...like someone else on here, I just have a sneaking feeling Rooney is going to see the back of the net a couple of times. Also..I reckon Nani is going to score a blinder...

This game will be a real test. We need to prove a high form in away games and this is a great chance to stay top.

We need 3 points, badly.

Spurs fielded the same team bar Defoe today and they played with 10 men for most of the match 2 days ago at Villa and exerted a lot more energy, my point is hopefully if they can play the same team 2 days in a row having had a much harder match then we should be able to.

Not true.

3 points is obviously what we must aim for and everyone will be disapointed with anything less but we don't "badly" need the 3 points at all.

but when you consider we still have to go to Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool away, 3 points is important....we need to beat the smaller sides.

Of course. We always look for the win and anything but is always a disapointment. We do not badly need the 3 points though.

We don't need to get above City?

A draw takes us above City but no it would not be the end of the World if we didn't over take them at this stage in the season still with 2 games in hand.

Allrighty. Let me say it this way... I need that 3 points, badly.

I want our team to finally establish a solid away form which wasn't very great, some time ago.

Well I certainly do not want our unbeaten run in the league to end tonight....:nono:

Some of you lot need to take your balls out of storage and fecking use them! It's a good job the team don't go in to games thinking a draw would be a good result!

You see we agree on some things...;)

To all those who say a draw wouldn't be a bad result...ffs grow a pair...

C'mon you Reds...

no that would not be ideal , we have more than Birmingham and should turn them over.
But we have said that about some of the other away games and we have been dire , like somebody posted before we just have to get out of second gear away from home and we will be OK.

could be a hard game but am going for 0-3 to us. Nani should be back and we should do enough to win the game

I have a bad feeling about this one

Wont be easy Brum are no pushovers at home but I think we'll nick it late on with a Rooney screamer
