Fair play to Blackburn they came to play when they could have stayed back and defended. Now its united vs the pool in a cup final again. Lets all hope the game is better then the 96 FA cup final. Of course we won that with erics sublime volley.

this is probably the best final that the Football association could have wanted. two giants of english football playing in the worthington cup final. Lets see if both teams put out a full strength side and give some much needed respect back to this competition

We won tonight despite several below par performances. Hopefully the spur on Europe (once it reconvenes) will fire into top gear.
Looking forward to my first trip to Cardiff. Gonna go with a 'dont care' attitude and revel in watching the scousers kill themselves trying to stop us winning the quad
