We'll play down to the level of our competition...it seems to be the trend as of late. I have no prediction on the outcome...but I sincerely hope that the 11 players that take the field that day play with a passion and fire that was missing against the 'Dippers.

If Chelsea lose againt the barcodes then we are still in it. We will still have a chance to finish 2nd, even if chelsea draw we still have a chance, it just means we have to beat them after this game.

If Chelsea win against newcastle then united should play some reserve players for experience.

If chelsea lose or draw to newcastle then we play our strongest side.
 
All I want to see is some quality football from our team, even if we lose ffs. We have not even played 2 matches back to back where we played good quality attacking football and thats really sad. And Like I said b4 its mainly fergies fault(Not getting a proper #2 and a replacement for Rio). And for the first time in ages I dont care about this match we can lose 5-0 for all I know. :mad: :mad:
 
Blackburn are on a good run,,United are in indifferent form,,,i guess the home side will win it 1-0 :(
We miss Scholes.

if you look at our previous games..we haven't let in many..but we haven't scored that much either..wesley has got back into track and has put in some really marvelous performances..more worried about our progress in the final third..all we seem capable to do now is dump balls from the wings into the box..mostly inaccurately..

So you think Roy Keane and Phil Neville are a natural double-act in midfield do you? :wenger:

Keane, Neville AND Paul Scholes work brilliantly together with Scholes in the hole creating for us, but not so with just the two defensive players, as we saw against Liverpool (seen the match yet?).

Phil actually played relatively well and is a contender for our Player of the Season.
 
I'll be there, 70's attire at the ready, mouthing along to 70's chants that I don't know the words to.

All I want is for the team to play to the best of their ability, put on a performance rather than grind out a result!

Whats the betting that Ronaldo doesn't play!

I will be really pissed if this is not the lineup for the match, maybe with Ole for Ron or Ruud depending on fitness. The probably wont line up like this mind.

Please....put Giggs on the left. Ronaldo on the right and Fletcher and Keane in the centre. But your line-up will be the most likely though :(
 
Not going to predict the side, but with the fans going in 70's gear, what's the chances the team will play like they were in the 70's? Relegation fodder of the early 70's or the Charging young bucks of the Doc's cup winning team? Let's go all the way, get Nike to produce a replica kit similar to the one worn in the 1977 cup final.....

I don't think Ruud will start due to his injury still. I think he'll be on the bench though. I would love to see a full United squad out on the pitch, but it's just not feasible sometimes.
I'm not even going to try to guess who might be playing. i wouldn't be surprised if keano and ronaldo start on the bench. though i wouldn't be surprised if they all started. either way, i'm sure that giggs and saha will start along with gary, wes, mik, and johnny in the back. probably howard in goal. that's all i'm guessing.
