Blackburn Rovers vs Manchester United

Same was said back in 05'.

Well, to be fair, they were only in their early 30s back then, and no one really blamed our failures on them like you suggest. It was apparent back then that it were players like Smith, Miller, Djemba or Kleberson that were holding us back.

It's all over. What a disappointing end to the season. :(

This place is full of massive twats.

We have just lost the title.

Something United fans are not used to enough.

Not everyone is cool and calm enough as you.

So let everyone calm down you fecking twat!

I always knew the league was pretty much gone after the Chelsea game, but more dissapointed by the lack of response to the UCL exit and the bad week overall.

I think it's been a decent season for us. Never expected much without Ronaldo and sure it hurts losing the title when a week ago you would have thought it could be won. Rooney's absence cost us and I think we should purchase another player of this quality because if he's out for a longer period at inconvenient time next season, we will have the same story again.

That helps

Funny that every time we drop points half the board turn into 5 year olds.

Its all heat of the moment.

I bet Brwned must be shouting when we miss a sitter or a player does something stupid.

Something most people here can't watch is United losing.

Doesn't mean they dont like United.

Saf on sky sports saying that we just didn't create chance and was not good enough

We controlled possession in the first half and I think we were just frustrated in the final third. At the end of the day, we were supposed to beat Chelsea to win the league, failing to have done so, our chances seem obsolete. Regardless, I am looking forward to next season. Treble/Quadruple anybody?

I knew this was going to be a tough match. The sort of match where you might get one good chance. We did and failed to score.

I've seen these type of games so many times. The home team defends for 85 minutes, creates one chance and punishes you.

That chance for Blackburn came in the dying moments and if it hadn't been for a superb block from Gary Neville we would have lost all three points.

The fat lady is on the stage but she hasn't started singing just yet.

I've been to a lot of away games at Blackburn and they're never easy. Used to hate going to watch United there. Wasn't too surprised at the result.

Majorly disappointing performance, and I wasn't surprised.

Neville, Scholes, and Giggs should never start for this club again. We need to move on, yet Ferguson decides to stick with them. With them three, and O'Pie starting, I was worried. It speaks volumes for the state of our midfield too, a must win game, in the title race, and we field two oldies in the centre. Not right at all.

Evra should've come on at half time, we needed him badly to provide more runs to help from the left, or even Rafael who could've provided more energy from the right. We shouldn't have dropped Rafael. Edit, wasn't on the bench, an injury?

Nanis balls in should've been better, and Valencia was decent.

So much for rotating so much this season with Fergusons reasoning being we have a great squad. That was well backed up by bringing on the great Darron Gibson an Park Ji Sung.

It was a very tired performance today, frustration was written all over from the early moments and everyone seemed edgy. No one stood out as woeful or great today, Nani was hit and miss, Berbatov was ok in the first half as a deep lying CM but poor in the second, Scholes was off the pace at times but hit a couple of glorious passes, Valencia should have scored but other than that was quiet, Macheda laid the ball off well but got no service and Giggs was starting to inject some urgency when he got hurt.

Berbatov will get the lions share of the blame and he didn't really do anything to lift his cause, but the lack of guile in the final third from midfield really hurts against a team like Blackburn who park the bus.

Without Rooney we don't seem like we are going to score.

We are less of a threat and that has been obvious for so many games, we havent react since the Bayern game. Too reliant in one player is really bad.

We clearly need Rooney.

We are pretty poor without him.

Well if we do not add another quality striker that can lead the line or support Rooney we will end up with nothing, you cant expect Rooney to be fit all over the season. Berbs is more a creative player than a finisher. In all the games we needed him he didnt deliver and thats fecked up.

This match is gonna grate with me all through Summer.

Is stupid to look just at one game, Chelsea home, Burnley away, Sunderland home. Too many to point at one.

There is no point looking back, we have to take what is in front of us and make the best of it, if it is then fine if not then wasnt to be.
