Strongish team, and we'd like to take a lead back to Old Trafford. Went for Rio on the left of centre because i feel it would be beneficial for Evra to make his debut alongside an experienced player as opposed to a youngster or just O'Shea.

Gaz for right back because i'd like to see Pique play next to an experienced player as opposed to Bardsley. Giggs should rest for weekend, especially if Park won't make it. Rossi should also get to start alongside Ruud.

Think we will do well to get a draw, think we might half settle for that cos we have a 2nd leg to finish them off, but Blackburn are useful too and tinkering with the lineup does open us up a bit. The onus is on them to attack and win this leg so hopefully we can stay solid and catch them with a few counters.

Well according to that line up we're playing 1 1-1-1-1 1-1-1-1 1-1 which is pretty stupid IMO, provides no width!
