Park is a decent sub to bring on....Ruud is probably more effective starting, but he may be knackered, although, he could have started and then been withdrawn....

Maybe Fergie decided it's time he rotated the strikers up front. Like give each one 60 mins per game and then 30 in the next. Or he just feels at the moment Saha is a bigger goalscoring threat than Ruud is.

The surprise for me is that Smith is not on the bench. 2 CBs, 1 winger & 1 striker. Not another injury, I hope!
It probably boils down to the fact that Fergie reckons that Saha deserves some matches now so he had to drop either Rooney or Ruud. And it ended with beeing Ruud.

United's team tonight is all about pace - Evra, Rio, Ronaldo, Richardson, Rooney & Saha. Perhaps that's the main reason why Park & Ruud are on the bench.
