PIG has been absolutely dreadful, some schoolboy goalkeeping in this match.
Alex gambled in playing PIG. At the moment - it isn't working out so good. I'm not sure he'll be giving him the hairdryer cos he can't take him off. More likely bigging him up or trying to calm him down I would have thought. Much as I like Evans as a player, he can be subbed so maybe SAF could sub him off to try and change the mood of the back four. Basically, it's all down to the attackers picking better passes. I'd like to see Berbs guile before the end of the game - we need some class and to calm the feck down.

My interpretation is that this is 'Last Chance Saloon' for Kuszczak -- prove yourself, or you're on your way.
I'd prefer to just secure the title and play VDS, personally.
I think we'll see a better second half, though (regradless of Kuszczak's performance). We'll take the point we need.

PIG is giving me nightmares here, he needs to get his head together and fast. Should have played Edwin today, got it done and rested him next week. I hope PIG can shake the cobwebs though because if he continues this way, it could get worse for us.

If we don't get an equalizer in the first 25-30 mins of the 2nd half, Owen will come on and get the big goal he's been talking about.

That's not an excuse at all. I'm sure he'll concede he had a horror first half. If anything, a frightened keeper like that causes the defense to under perform.

I think Blackburn will drop so deep in the second half, it will negate playing Hernandez. Berbatov would be better in that situation.

Pig and Evans have been v poor. Evans for the goal, it was worse than school boy defending. I mean for a for ball to come into the box in the air and your man be able to kick it unchallenged is unbelievable at this level.
Our new manager is right, Dwight is wrong saying that ball was decent from Rio.. The size and ability of VDS comes to show here, you just have to play different defence with Tomasz in the goal..
