Blackburn vs Manchester United

I hope all the post match celebrations are uploaded on the videos thread here. They've switched to the FA Cup.

whole of the ball over whole of the line
it wasnt from the replays they showed during the game

The whole of the ball doesnt mean the middle where its touching the ground.
Its the entire width. It is possible to see the green between the part touching the ground and the line without the whole ball being over the line

Both goals were good. The ball was NOT completely over the line for Blackburn's goal, so the goal was good. And Hernandez was DEFINITELY fouled and impeded by Robinson inside the penalty area (you could even see it in Robinson's eyes), so the penalty was 100% the correct decision. End of.

Just saw the highlights. And it is awesome that Mike Phelan is looking away when Rooney is going to take the penalty. Looks so nervous.

Just got in from work had the match on the radio, fair play to Blackburn you played well.

Officially we have eclisped Liverpools record of league titles, thank f**k. Looks like Fergie will be playing himself against Blackpool afterall.

I have not been as nervous during the last 30 minutes of this match than during the whole season.

could not sit down...until we scored....and even with 5 minutes to go.

I thought..what if Blackburn 'break' the unsigned agreement and press us as we were passing the ball between us.

thank God its over... :)

Id its 1-1, with 85 minutes, which would suit both teams, anybody expecting this to fizzle out like Levante/Barca where Barca passed it between the back four for five minutes and got their possession stats to 85%???

No? Me neither ... :s

My best redcafe prediction ever... :nervous:

Anyway, I screamed my head off when Rooney scored the penalty. Almost swore as well. Great feeling.

Champions

The last few minutes are always the most nervy of them all!

I think it was beneficial for both ends. Both teams didn't want to risk losing, because having to play accordingly, to try and win the game would have risked a weakened defense which would amount to some chance of one or the other winning. A draw kept Blackburn clear from the bottom three, too.

Win-win situation for both clubs.
