Because Stones is English they don't get on his case. They were disgusting towards DDG when he first signed and was awful, but when Joe Hart hit similar form, nothing was said.
 
I don't think it's protecting english players, look at Rooney for example. It's just a bigger click bait story if it's a United player.

And now Bravo is in even worse form, making even more calamitous mistakes, and doesn't even make up for it by being a decent stopper like DDG was in his first season. Again, I've seen little criticism being piled his way like DDG got. The way teams played against us in those first few months was mad. The media had created this myth that DDG was utterly hopeless and teams just took shots from all over the place, and every team tried to block him in on corners. The Mirror called him "De Howler" every week, no matter how he played. I'm surprised DDG didn't hand in a transfer request and leg it back to Spain, after all the shite he got. Bravo must be getting some of that his way any day now, right?

I believe the same can also be applied to Sterling. He hasn't played like a £50 million player yet. Also, does Delph even exist, or did I dream that he plays for City?

If you're English and talented, you're protected. Otherwise you're vilified and a waste of money.
 
At the rate he's going, Bluemoon will be accusing Stones of conspiring against City soon.

The best bit is, they'd give a bollock to have DDG as their No.1 now. I love Dave even more now for having the rough start he had. He showed bags of Brendan's character unlike say Di Maria who just crumbled and left. The best bit of business we have done for all the reported £250m spent over the last few windows is keeping Dave. Sure Madrid's outdated fax machine was somewhat fortuitous but United took advantage of that fortune, offered him a better contract and he really seems settled.

Sorry to get slightly off topic but to go from that Dzecko goal and all the negative media and tactics towards him from opposition teams to where he is now is just a thing of beauty. I'm glad he's not getting lots of screen time this season, it's always good when you see little of your keeper!

Heard pebbles earlier for stones and that cracked me up but apart from that I can't think of many. Kunt pretty much writes itself aswell I suppose.
 
Apparently, Pogba should have had a red card against Palace, everyone at bluemoan is convinced. (A second yellow for diving they are suggesting).

To be fair some of those are pretty funny. Does show how obsessed by us they are though having multiple nicknames for most of our players past and present.
