I keep hearing of this wealth of talent in City's academy. Other than Iheanacho who has come through of late? I take it that when he shifts out the likes of Toure and Nasri then the super talent from the academy will take their places? Same with Kolarov and Zabaleta? And from now on under pep and the project that there will be this massive academy machine that has ready made players to slot in when there are injuries and they will never be effected by ffp again?
Don't get me wrong its a nice set up an all that but are you telling me that say Utd win the league next season that they will push youth through and not sign 4 or 5 established stars to claw it back? Not saying they are wrong in doing that , just odd that the whole nation is creaming itself over an academy that has produced balls all so far?
