Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Hahaha what a bunch of clowns!

To be honest our fans are opposite. Go nuts over a player then he's linked to us/joins us and doom and gloom.

Because we have always been successful and in counter they have always been shit till last 5 years. So it is understandable but it so funny seeing the bluemoon clowns

Why do they call us "Rags"? What does it mean?

We had to get a loan of kits off them after O.T was bombed in WW2 as our kits were destroyed and torn the rags. I think..

It's not even insulting and were the richest club in the world which is hilarious.

According to Bluemoon, what happened was we needed kits because of what you said in the war, BUT City purposely gave us some old kits that were basically rags, on purpose lol.
Its almsot certainly bullshit but its something that amuses them

City fans also have a story about a shop owner being asked to sort out the kits for the European Cup final, but being a City fan didn't want to put the Manchester crest on a United shirt so made the shirts out of some rag material, so we played the final in rags.

To the best of my knowledge the term is a self given nickname by United fans that dates back to pre-WWII, when United were so poor the fans joked that either they did play in rags or would have to the next season because they wouldn't be able to afford new kits.

I was never entirely sold on Jorginho so this is a welcome chance to sign someone more suited in my opinion.

Be careful so you don't sound like a "we didn't want him anyway"- Liverpool fan :smirk:

Not Bluemoon, but the Manchester City subreddit when I commented. Unbelievably toxic.

Its so weird they ALL, to a tee, use that term to describe us. Like something a bitter, little kid would say.

Feck off, Don't think I've ever said it. There must be a filter over there that changes the name or something. Don't think I've ever seen Mctid use it either.

That's a Wum post in a City forum if ever there was one. No way that was a legit goal and the guy is clearly on the wind up. He also forgets to mention the goal was clearly offside.

Back in the Maine Road days, it was said that all Citeh fans had moustaches and most came from Stockport. United fans all had black leather jackets and came from anywhere but Manchester. All rubbish of course.

This thread has died. :(
How are our friends reacting to the news?

I'd imagine they know nothing will be done about it so aren't too fussed.

From defending profusely that their sponsorships were legit and showed true/fair value for 10 years to ''Oh Well''.

What news? Sorry, just came from work and read your post. Something happened? They are kicked out from Europe? They are selling club?

It turns out Man City were worth relatively nothing to sponsors and they have been doping the numbers of their deals along with many other crimes to hide dirty dealings from UEFA.

It's nothing we didn't already suspect.

They're still a great footballing side who are managed from the top down, brilliantly.

However, what else did you expect at this scale? Hence why City don't really bother me, their current success is hollow. It could just as easily have been Leeds United, Newcastle or even a club closer to their own size like Sheffield Wednesday.

What?! Well i for one am shocked.

That Tolmie fake transfer guru weirdo is suggesting that City could have signed Messi and Ronaldo if they wanted to.
