Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

A City fan on Blue Moon actually calling us cheats, you couldnt make it up

I despise Derby days but I'd million % draw them cheating vile bastards! The dates seem to not cause too much congestion so we'd play our top XI. The problem will come if we draw them in later rounds when(if?) We've got CL games to contend with. But saying all that, I'd much sooner draw West Ham ;-) Burnley at home would be immense.

Just noticed this on the Bristol City forum

This is brilliant. And totally accurate.

Toes splayed.

What will their excuse for us winning be tonight? We didn't get assistance from VAR.

They are now bemoaning the fact we have yet another home draw. Obviously failing to grasp that's it's another PL team for us and yet another championship one for them.

They really are a strange fanbase. Totally cut off from reality.

MASSIVE!!!!

Just had a read of their united thread. It's genuinely frightening, I'd like to think a lot of it is either satire or kids, but going off the middle aged City fans I know I don't think it's either.

Some of them seriously need help.

Apparently no team can live with City and they are going to do The Treble because its their year

Forget about the rags, if we play to the best of our ability no team can live with us .. We are doing the treble, everyone has written us off but it’s gonna be our year .. Again..

Match was fixed weren't it...
Just watched the highlights of their match against West Ham.

That game has match-fixing written all over it.

Looked like WWE choreography from the hammers players.
I watched the game, 3 very unusual goals.

How often does a defender head straight into his goal from a corner when it doesn't look that difficult a header to make?

The 2nd the angle shown from behind the goal was criminal. The keeper puts his hand out, it looks inches away from the ball, then he pulls his hand away, doesn't even dive either.

The 3rd is just comical defending at best, but put on a plate.

All in all, 3 very strange goals for a PL team to concede in one half of football.
Didn't watch the game but saw the highlights. The goalkeepers actions looked really odd. Plus the OG was weird too. The Shits did have a goal ruled out by VAR though. That was unusual too. The Shits are normally given them.
I encourage everyone to watch the highlights and see how strange the behaviour was from the hammers players (keepers and defenders) for all of United’s goals and even their attackers for some of their own chances to score more to put the match away (some of the decision making was baffling).

I am not sure of the cause—perhaps West Ham didn’t want to continue in the cup so made sure they didn’t—but everything about that match is very suspect.
The tears....

Arsenal - Bournemouth at 2-2 in stoppage time

They will still be playing in an hour
Nearly there!
5 minutes of the 6 was for Arsenal players whinging to the ref!
I've not seen such constant appealing, since Bob Geldof at Live Aid

Arsenal - Bournemouth at 3-2

Just feck off. Lets play till they score
That is sickening.
The game was supposed to continue till they win
That is feckING EMBARRASSING from BT.

The whole fecking studio arms in the air when that went is.

Absolute THUNDERCUNTS!!!
Keep playing until they score, feck me, they arent even trying to hide it anymore
It’s like Fergie time all over again.
Utterly fecking corrupt

Bournemouth shithoused about 3 minutes of the added 5 initially. I'm glad the ref added more. I wish it was like the WC. However not all refs will enforce it and there lies the problem.

The sooner we move to rugby's approach with a stopped clock the better. Have 35 minute halves and the amount of play will increase.

I've seen a few refs whistle 10-20 seconds before the end for us while drawing.

What annoys me is one ref will add on the seconds wasted in injury time, one won't, another will add on even more until the move ends and then allows the other team to respond well past any total measure.

Didn’t watch the game, are the bitters justified in their furor or was the proper amount of time actually added?

Isn't that what happened in the WC? Every game had like 8-12 minutes added.

Yeah, this is infuriating. We shouldn't be relying on refs to keep time any more.

Well they are fecking stupid then like Villa

It was daft to be honest, the ref seemed to be content to let them play until they scored. 1 minute and 20 seconds more than the stoppage time. As soon as they scored he blew the whistle for full time. Disgraceful.

I agree with most of what they said, particularly those bits about the BT studio celebrating like a bunch of kids which is pathetic
When a club that exists as it is only because of money is caught breaking financial rules then behaves like it’s a victim, you’ll forgive people for momentarily abandoning their objectivity. I hope they show that studio celebration on repeat.

Oh yeah it's a complete set up for Arsenal

Yeah exactly and that is why City winning means nothing compared to Arsenal

Here lies the problem, each ref has a different interpretation of the rules and it results in a chaotic series of games where the rules are different depending on which ref you get. It's 2023, rules should be clear with no wriggle room.

Despite the name on the badge, Arsenal are a Cinderella story the neutrals will always root for over the established power. The PL has had a true surprise winner only twice before this season I think. Happens once in a…

That game in particular seemed like it was only going one way and the ref wanted it. It's like they're trying to make up for the Brentford VAR feck up now.
There were 4 or 5 Bournemouth handballs in the box looked at by VAR. If the ref was desperate to give us a win, why wouldn't he just give us a pen for one of those? Wouldn't that be much simpler than adding on extra time and hoping we scored?

What a bizarre theory

Ever since Arteta moaned about that Brentford goal you have had a ridiculous amount of luck and it's sickening to say the least

So you think that the added time on added time on added time was justified? And I’m sure you’re content the ref blew up the second after kick off? Do you think it would have been justified if Bournemouth would have scored that goal well after the game was supposed to be over?
