Bad result for us but it could have been worse. 14 goals attempts for Bolton, only 5 for us...

What can I say....shocking man..that really was...
Are we becoming a bit like the old Chelsea (not being able to win stuff against the 'lower' teams)??

I was really dissapointed today....
1999 was the best, why did AF fix it if it wozn't broken....
We should neva have wasted all the money we did (around 100 mill) on new players....

Shit, I was going to go for a siesta, but the Shitty-Arse game is on next and I'm gonna be shouting for Shitty from the rafters. Except I haven't got any rafters just a ceiling.

We're lucky... :(

paz fab was superb its to bad that their goal came on his mistake. It could have been 3 or 4 for bolton. But christ you lot are saying we played better after they scored well we did for about 5 minutes and then alardyce took of his best player changed to a more defensive formation and Bolton started playing like they had a 3-0 lead and it cost them. We really had no answer for them save keanos shot until they changed thier tactics. We were lucky to get a point. We have played bloody awful the last two noon time games hopefully this will be the end of it for awhile. Unfortunately dont we play the ARSE at noon in the title decider

For some bloody reason United always have this effect on me.

God, then I'm off to the pub at 18:30 to watch the Wales-England match. I'm gonna be hammered and have no voice at all come 9 O'clock.

Wales are playing England today at 17:30 GMT are they not?

I think City may get something given the break they,ve had. Hoewever unless we discover some form quickly it'll be irrelevant anyway. Too many players ( Silvestre, Keane, Van Nistelrooy , Giggsy and Scholes ) have been playing well below par since the City game. Our passing has been poor , finishing diabolical. We,ve tended to have dips like this be4 .Remenmber our loss of form in 94 be4 the Oldham replay, when it looked like we would throw it all away. The difference is, we had a cushion at the top, and no one like the Arse in contention.

The simple truth is that many of us have refused to accept what we may deep down know to be true... that we,ve fallen significantly behind arsenal and need to rebuild. The next few weeks will make it clear. No more rooom for debate. If we recover form and push Arse all the way to the end of the season, whatever the final outcome , then there's not a lot wrong. If , as looks likely at the momemnt .. we let them out of sight in the next few weeks then we know that this team has had its day and we need to start again.

I picked the pefect time for my first European away of the season. Turin here I come

I'd like to see Arsenal drop points, but shouting for city from the rafters is taking it a bit far Weastie ;)

Sorry, that was selfish of me, I should have said "our" Manchester United. :o

Ok maybe Crap team was a bit harsh on todays performance but they are in the lower reaches of the table and their recent form wasnt top level. We are back to playing some of the football we played earlier in the year we look disjointed and confused. Im not an expert but what formation was that today and why was giggs playing on becks side. Feel sorry for RG as he looked shattered when he came off. His confidence is obviously been shaken. Well we can still make it a good fortnight with an away result at JUVE and Taking the Pool out in Cardiff. CMON CITY. Just Imagine if we could have stolen this game City could have put us level on points with the ARSE oh wishful thinking.

In there with ya. Wasn't going to watch the Arse City game but have to now.
We played bad 'cos we kept giving the ball away, players were holding onto the ball looking for someone to pass to and Bolton were up for it running their socks off. Players weren't finding positions and those with the ball often had nobody to pass to. The first half tactics left me baffled. We had no wingers, Giggs was over on the right most of the time, O'Shea and Gaz were the only ones running the wings and Veron or Becks couldn't pass to a red shirt.
Only Barthez deserves credit IMHO. Some world class saves. Ah well.....lets hope it's just a blip.

And before some clever cnut says anything about the embarrassed smiley, I'm embarrassed to be supporting The Shitty, not my (sorry - our) Manchester United. :)

I know what you mean, I was going to go back to bed for an hour but I'm well awake now so fcuk it - might as well go out to the pub and watch shitty v's arse then the rugby

:D

5 days now until I'm on the plane back for the WC Final, and the Leeds game :D

RED 99 i dont think we have fallen significantly behind ARSENAL. We have tinkered around too much with tactics which imo have stifled our players. Ole is a Striker Giggs is a winger if fit that is were they should play. You can see it in Oles eyes and play that he is not totally confident at the moment either because he is not confortable. Yes he did score the equalizer but their were other times in the match when Ole normally would have shot on goal and decided to pass instead. And poor giggzy he is just not on his game right now. The back 4 played well and keano was good becks got better and better Veron was almost non existant Rudd was non existant. This certainly was a game that Rudd could have been rested on Ole and Diego could have started up front. SAF will hopefully sort all this out before our trip to Cardiff because even though its the worthless cup i want us to win it.

Is it Ok to leave this thread, or are there a load of doom and gloom and WUM scouse/gooner threads popping up all over the show?

A Belated Happy Birthday to you!

Why has time decided to go slow again?

Lucky to get a point out of the game. I haven't seen a United performance that poor in a long time. Bolton deserved the 3 points.
