I think we should win. I agree with those saying that we used to have trouble with them under Macca.. But with Southgate in charge, I think they will be hard to break down at the back.. I watched them last week vs Villa, it was very boring..

other than the 4-1 hammering, we have won the other 3 previous visits to the riverside. but granted, they have a better record against us than many FAPL teams.
for a team with so much attacking flair and power - they don't score or even create enough. mendieta and rochemback are out of favour and so they will be replaced by workman-like players like cattermole. viduka is injured as is christie and yakubu is not in the form of last season.
it all points to them sitting back and playing for a draw.
