below a prime MON I can buy but Lennon is stealing a living as a managerA level below Neil Lennon and Martin O’Neill. Dont think he would be an improvement on OGS at all. Also lack the cultural fit. Terrible idea.
Despite overpaying for Maguire, it was justfied by certain United fans because 'He is better than what we have'.
Rogers is certainly better than what you have.
The difference between Rogers and Ole is far greater than Maguire and Jones/Smalling etc.
My favorite comment on here about him.
"Rodgers hasn't got a clue/ good attacking football with shaky defence every where he's gone (still hasn't figured that part out after all these jobs he's had)"
Since being at the club we have conceded 14 goals in 16 matches. We conceded 23 in the previous 16.
He's done this whilst signing 0 defenders, and selling one, albeit a massively overrated one, for £80 million.
Even this season we've only conceded 5 in 6, despite playing 3 of the top 6 scorers in the league, with a center back who hasn't featured before but looks absolute quality.
The only thing keeping us from the top 6 this season will be our lack of forward options.
Gray isn't good enough, Barnes will be class but is not yet and albrighton isn't a goalscorer.
Hopefully Perez gets a few once he loses the small time mentality Newcastle had.
Fully expect Rogers to get big funds for forwards in January.

Still trying to figure out if he has an incredibly small head or an incredibly big nose.
He is an average manager.
One very season good at Liverpool but in the others he couldnt even mount a decent challenge to top 4. Hopeless in European football. Couldn't get out of his CL group and made no impact in the Europa league.
Don't know why we've got so many Leicester fans here. As they're all infsufferably arrogant for supporters of an average football team.Despite overpaying for Maguire, it was justfied by certain United fans because 'He is better than what we have'.

Why are all the Leicester fans on here so bitter and angry![]()

Where did I mention Ole? He has nothing to do with Rodgers.I hate how once a person had any association with Liverpool some people here will do everything to discredit him. He is 10 times the manager Ole is.

He is a solid manager. A very good manager. Im also saying if he is average what would you say Ole is?
If you want to be taken seriously you're going to have to stop leaving huge spaces between your incoherent points.Leicester fans, and fans of other clubs, are simply pointing out the hypocrisy of some of the views on here.
Maguire is worth £80 million because 'he is better than what we have' was a point made by many.
Yet Rogers should not be replacing the 'Below average Ole', because Rogers is only 'average'......But by using the Maguire logic, he is better than what you have, no?
Then you're telling Liverpool fans that Maguire cannot be compared to Van Dijk.
Why?
Because you realise that once again, in the post-Fergie era, Liverpool have trumped yourselves?
The Maguire/Van Dijk transfers are perhaps the most comparable transfers of all time, and Liverpool have clearly got a far far better deal. Signing a better player, and genuine World Class player, for a lesser fee.
The digs towards the fans of these clubs pointing out these issues are laughable.
These may be smaller clubs than Manchester United, but they have ambition and the attitude of striving towards being a bigger club.
Not signing a player/manager/coach because he is ex Liverpool/Man City etc, whilst giving an ex player with no experience the job of manager, is the definition of 'Small club mentality'.
His comedy soundbites and general vilification as an ex-Pool boss detract from the fact that he’s a decent manager and he’s definitely got Leicester looking good for breaking into the top6As I said earlier he's a very good manager and extremely underrated.
Wait until we play them next Sunday.Leicester will go through a bad patch, let's see how the season finishes.
They were awful at Old Trafford, saved by VAR against Spurs (should have lost) and are beating arguable the worst team in the league who are down to ten men.
They are obviously a good team, but let's not be talking as if they're the Milan team of the early 90s. I still reckon they'll finish 7th when all's said and done.
Well, it will also emphasise something Leicester players don't have to deal with.. Every team plays at 120% against United.Wait until we play them next Sunday.
I think their squad is overrated here. However they do have a good manager. I think he'd not be out of place at any of the big 4/5 sides. Obviously at City and Liverpool he would be a step down.Leicester will go through a bad patch, let's see how the season finishes.

You can't be appointing sacked Liverpool managers when you're Manchester United.People can laugh all they want but I would take him here in a heartbeat. He’s in a different stratosphere than Ole. I get that he’s often derided over his past antics and rightly so as some of it was cringe but he’s definitely toned that nonsense down.

Something else players from clubs like Leicester find difficult when they sign for big clubs.

Some people.
His Leicester team look well capable of top 4 this season albeit only because Spurs, United and co. look off the pace. Credit to him, he's recovered well from throwing away a PL title.
They play good football and were well in the game they lost against United and the game with Spurs looked like 2 evenly matched sides. Will most likely finish 7th but if the other big sides dont pull their finger out 4th is a real possibility.
