But that doesnt make any sense, both sides were lying out of their arseholes throughout the entire campaign, and both sides and supporters continue to lie and bullshit about the topic to this day.
The campaign was fought on bullshit, and won or lost depending on your point of view with both sides playing by the same rules.
When do you stop voting? Do we stop when we get the result YOU want or do we just keep going and going and going and going.
I saw stupid fecktardWatched it expecting to see him say stupid women, actually saw stupid people. Slightly dissapointed
WHo gives a feck, shes a stupid woman.
Maybe he should take lessons on how to respect women from boris johnson
I keep hearing cabinet ministers on the news saying they're still getting legal assurances on the backstop from the EU.
When? Why is no-one asking when or how this is supposed to happen when the EU have already said no and that there's no planned discussions
Agreed. But he didn't, and here we are...He should have just said, yeah i did call her stupid because at a time of great national crisis where business and voters are deeply troubled our prime minister is stood here making panto jokes.

Some backing for Theresa May.
Surely not. What would Putin gain from a diminished EU and a Britain going off a cliff?

We could chuck empty plastic bottles at his head to make it more realistic.Jeremy needs to remember to cover his mouth with his hand like the football managers do..."stupid man/people/person/arsenal supporter/ageing man with grey hair!!"

I wish I was truly amazed at the blatant hypocrisy on this board regarding the outcome of the referendum but I am not, just simply saddened by it. Now unless I am mistaken for better or worse (worse I think) we had a referendum in 2016 on our continuing membership of the EU. Parliament supported it.......not just the Tories but Labour as well (not too sure about the minor parties). Now I accept at that time it was only the Tories who said the outcome of the result would be binding. Then of course we had a general election in 2017 when only the Lib Dems and the Scots Nat's argued strongly for remain. Scots Nat's lost seats as did the Lib Dems. Indeed the Lib Dems only got 8% of the votes. What did the Tory and the Labour manifestos say.....that they would honour the referendum results. Just shows how much the electorate cared about staying in the EU
So in a nutshell we had the opportunity in 2017 to overturn the referendum result and p++++d on that opportunity. No wonder the few really clued up politicians in the HOC realise that to go back on that decision really screws up democracy in the UK and proves that voting counts for dilly squat if the elite do not agree with you. It is true that 400 plus constituencies voted to leave the EU but over 400 MP's disagree and they are not all tories. Talk about politicians saying 'I hear you but I am going to fecking ignore you'.... no wonder Trump won in the USA.
And finally what I have failed to ever see in the arguments favouring another vote on this or any other board is .....by what margin does the vote have to be one way or the other to be legitimate?
I was a firm remainer....now I just want my appointed reps to cease playing political games and agree a unified position that is not bedevilled with thoughts of winning the next general election. Trouble is I am spitting in the wind.
Ah well I will go quiet again until after March

How is it that whenever someone comes in here and questions having a second referendum or says the UK made their decision and should just get on with it, they always include "I was a staunch remainer, but now.."

If you voted Conservative or Labour you voted for Brexit, if you voted Lib Dem you voted against it. Simple. The election argument is a red herring in a FPTP system - the two big parties accepted the result of the referendum and so you are left with the choice of effectively spoiling your ballot paper by voting Lib Dems (led by the type of Christian nutter normally found in America) or voting between Tory and Labour on other issues.
As for legitimacy, we need a vote based on realistic options rather than the lies of have cake and eat it sold by the Leave campaign (and generously funded by Vladimir).
I suspect you are not “a firm remainer” if you really need this explaining to you.
