Brexited | the worst threads live the longest

Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

  • Total voters
    194
  • Poll closed .
Hope it doesn’t pass in parliament. Such a shit deal, months and months of negotiations for a shambles...

and when did we decide to leave the European Atomic Energy Community?

She's just trying to screw Labour with that, she knows it won't get through parliament without their votes so she'll now paint them as the ones blocking brexit.

Think it'll be resignation day tomorrow then a ERG backed candidate taking it to round 2.

Plenty of Tory MPs on twitter out for blood. UKIP out with their usual inflamatory language, last thing we need is them encouraging some nutter.

It passed Cabinet on a majority not unanimous vote... So at least one person (probably more) is unhappy... I would suspect fox might go first... After all in a customs union his department is redundant

It's around 10 ministers according to BBC/FT.

Vote was 18-11, according to Laura K's source: Fox, Hunt, Williamson, Penny Mordaunt, Javid, Leadsom, Evans, Mordaunt and Grayling against. McVey expected to resign (hooray).

It happened to me once many years ago on a flight from Gatwick-Tripoli-Benghazi. A Libyan farmer got aboard in Tripoli together with his chickens and goats - no-one took any notice (apart from the non-Libyans).
:lol:Those were the days. God knows how that guy got his goat through the ticket barrier though.

Such a day’s craic.

May is done IMO. I genuinely thought she might break down during that statement. I’d feel bad for her if she wasn’t such an atrocious human being. I think she’ll resign when parliament inevitably reject this deal. Then the games will begin.

Also starting to think Corbyn may have played a blinder here. He’s said a lot without committing to anything and now everyone is pissed with May on all sides.

Not sure I agree with you on Corbyn. His performance earlier was laughable. Labour have spent most of their time hiding on Brexit and have offered nothing constructive to the conversation at any point. They have their dopey ‘6 tests’ for Brexit that are impossible to pass.

He stole the goat from the Tuilerie Garden, that's in itself amazing, then he tried to travel with it in the metro.

How about a Caf vote? Choices clear now.
1. This deal
2. Hard Brexit
3. No Brexit

The commentators I've heard seem convinced that the Brexit deal has no chance of getting past parliament, but Betfair has 'deal to be approved by March 2019' as favourite, 4/6 on, and not agreed 11/10. I have no idea what's going to happen, and I'm amazed so many claim to know, my money's staying in my pocket.

May suggesting no brexit is an option. Seems like a big change to me.

I think that comment was directed at Brexiteers in order to get the deal through parliament. William Hague (who seems close to May) used the same phrase this evening and I doubt it is a coincidence.
