When I think of Boris as PM, I just remember when people were bitching and moaning about the likes of Blair and Brown.

The world has certainly changed...

Both dud leader speeches but it's going to be the backbenches who deliver the killer lines today.

Who the feck green lit that paper without a mention of Scotland?

It would probably be the most divisive election we have ever seen if it was him v Corbyn. Reminiscent of USA territory.

DUP nodding their heads off as Corbyn picks this apart.

Seems a case of when not if for May now.

As an outsider, please make this happen and then put him and Donnie in a room and televise it to the world so we can binge watch the brain damage of hubris and self conceit in play.

I have yet to hear one 'Leaver' coherently explain what they voted for and now they are pissed off when the whole process is a clusterfeck.

The Tories are always absolute cnuts to the Scottish in the commons. 13 seats they have in Scotland, unbelievable

Imeh its the eu - get ready for some fudge on 28th March (probably to extend A50)

Transition period, extension you can call it what you want however the UK must first commit to paying what its due in writing (+ more since it will remain in the EU for a longer time) and to accept a backstop. Else i doubt it will get anything.

After that, most of the chips will be in the hands of the bigger market. Unless of course le pen and co doesnt ruin the eu

Because to a lot of them it was just about stopping johnny foreigner from entering the country. That should be easy to negotiate.

We're not free of gormless fecks either, we just have less.

#govewatch

Making manoeuvres? Gavin Williamson missing too.

#indyref2

probably inevitable - I could see in a hung parliment for example them being in a king maker position with labour and making it a pre-condition of a coalition (just might not get the general election for several years but it looks pretty likley that could be how it plays out)

Ironically in the long term that may actually help the conservitives with the commons maths

@Sassy Colin are you pro brexit or remain.. always had you down as former?

What on earth gave you that idea?

Show me one post I have made where I support the idea of Brexshit? It will be an absolute fecking disaster for this country and only an imbecile would support it.

Is that clear enough? :)

gove is about as slimy a person as I can think of - of course he is making moves - expect him to quit today... to show he is still a brexiteer

I'll see you and raise you, Jeremy Hunt as slimiest politician, Hunt by name................. by nature.

Rees-Mogg says that Roy Keane wouldn't stand for this shamb!es.

Clear as day. I just assumed you were quite staunchly Tory and therefore pro-brexit or at least neutral on the prospect of leaving but apologies for assuming wrongly!

I think he's been carefully positioning himself for a while. He is of course a high-profile brexiter, but can also now say he has supported the party leader as a party loyalist, he's after support from all sides of the party, and there's not many will be able to do that. I don't like him by the way, I'm just assessing his chances of being next party leader.

In other words, another shameless careerist amongst many.
