Spot on, he has no political nous! He will never win a General Election if you can’t even get an advantage over a incompetent Government such as this.
 
The guy from the SNP is on Sky News at the minute and was asked about the meeting and he said it was the same old story and nothing came of it.

Inviting Chuka is pretty darn contemptible though. You would be pretty put out as a player if the tea boy started contributing to a United team meeting, especially if the tea boy was known for making really shit tea, and was also a complete twat.
 
Would anyone have criticised Corbyn for attending a meeting where Umunna was present? How he decided to leave the meeting when that would only see him ship more pointless criticism, I have no idea.

Indeed he's not relevant, which is why you shouldn't make him relevant by having him be the reason don't attend what is (in terms of optics at least) an important meeting.

No but I think it was an attempt to humiliate him, and everyone in the room would have known what the PM had done.

Given that it was a signal she wasn't serious about agreeing a way forward, he obviously judged it was better to leave. He played himself.

She could change/amend the "standing orders" - essentially changes the rules. But that requires consensus in Parliament.

Or she could end this parliamentary 'session' and start a new one - but that's controversial as you'd essentially be using the Queen as part of a political manoeuvre.

Not seeing any outrage. Just bitter dissapointment, which is all Corbyn has offered on Brexit.
