Brexited | the worst threads live the longest

Do you think there will be a Deal or No Deal?

You'd think given the magnitude of people attending this and the importance of Brexit to the country, the BBC would be live reporting this like they did with the Iraq war protests. Unfortunately not.

Nah, instead they're downplaying the size of it tenfold and giving Farage's address to 200 people the final word on their article.

I've asked you a simple question and got two strange answers back. Shouldn't I be asking you that question?
You just keep asking "what are they saying?" as if over one million people stretched out over 2 miles in London are all saying the same words and someone on a football message board might know

I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you weren't wumming and replied with the gist and you childishly replied …"They're chanting that?"

You seem to have a defensive bee in your bonnet - I asked if it appears to be an organised rally; something said in unison; something the press might pick up on and run with as a headline that leaves little wriggle room for the powers that be to deny or attempt to play down.

I don't know why you think I would be wumming, especially in a thread like this. Your reaction was unwarranted and unnecessary.

I just wanted to know the above, nothing more or less.

True, another civil war might be the fastest way to sort it all out. They don't tend to work out well for the Irish though.
There's significantly more protestors in London today than there were at the poll tax riots, it would be very easy for them to wholly dominate London and prevent all political action in Parliament until they get their way.

Careful now, or Farage will be raising his standard in Nottingham, it will be 1642 all over again.

Silva is right though. Most of the history of public action in this country does suggest that smashing shit up is a more effective form of protest than marching peacefully.

No you didn't … and if you really expect me to believe that you think over one million people all turned up in London today by coincidence and decided to march in unison upon Westminster then you are …

I really can't be bothered taking this any further, especially not today. I've tried to help as anyone can see if they scroll this conversation back. Sorry if you're upset or offended by my replies, I tried to be civil even when I detected some baiting - no offence meant. Go back and read through the thread and I think you'll get all the info you need on today's events.

So you're encouraging the Brexiters to riot are you? Come on man, think it through.

But that's exactly it. They haven't even had to, just being seen as more likely to do it has had government ministers running scared trying not to upset them for fear that they might start breaking things.

I'm not saying that's a good thing, but it is what it is.

I know the guy who runs Studio 338 (club in London) and he got backlash for putting a pic of their logo with the EU stars around it.

I jokingly said he should put an event on for remainers only and all the profit goes to EU charities.

Anyway someone has arranged something of a similar vein. A float with loads of quality DJs on it, through London as part of the march today.

It's part of their insane impartiality protocol.

So, for example, if you have a Nobel Lauret scientist on to say the world is round, you need a neckbeard, basement dwelling conspirasit to say it's flat so that you have an impartial debate.

At the same time you elivate someone with zero qualification to the same level as a genuine expert.

Do viewers treat the points of view on their merit or just value them equally because they share the same platform?

Pretty much. There's really no reason if your a leave voter to protest, their version of Brexit(Most leave voters want a No deal)is getting closer everyday.

I had a whole post written out, but posting it adds more pointless fuel to the fire, which is not what I'm here to do.

You've apologised, whether sincere or not, I'm just reading through the thread and was actually interested in what you had posted up.
