Bruno Fernandes: Manchester United Player

This photo makes me so happy. Woody certainly gave us a lot of anxiety by failing to do it last summer and squeezing it in last minute, this time around, but at least it is done now!

Just the stats from who scored. Included KDB as an indicator more than anything.

I don't really think these say much at this stage - it's an indicator of nothing because Bruno comes from a league that's no way near the quality of the Premier League.

It clearly shows he’d be a better porno actor than any bar maybe Andreas.

They also play fullbacks that doubleup as central midfielders.

And Fernandinho/Rodrigo are both considerably better at screening the CBs that either Fred or McTominay.
Shaw was playing something like that against Tranmere at times. He could work.

Welcome, Bruno. You're entering a shitshow right now, but if you prove to be a good buy we'll absolutely worship you lad!

Go get 'em!

Anoyne else noticed that he looks like Luis Suarez?

On this note alone, his pass completion is 76% this year and basically has to do everything. De bruyne is only 81% and plays in a team that will pass for days.

Not something I'm worried about.

Lingard apparently has an 87% pass completion. I don't even know how that's possible.
Because Lingard's not attempting to play through balls or similar.

A little over £46k a week if some sites are to be believed.
He must've really wanted to come here. I thought the rumoured £95k basic was modest and it turns out he's on quite a bit less.

It's a pay rise, but not the epic one you'd think for coming to a giant.

If he's a success here, his contract renegotiation is going to be epic.

No footage of a club interview yet?

He was on £46k a week gross according to what I've seen online.

It seems like he really wanted to join the club and the money was secondary to actually playing for United.

With Matic on a red card does it mean Fernandes goes straight into the side?

With Lingard, Mata and Periera options at AM, he goes into the side by default! The only thing Matic's injury does is hopefully force us to play more attacking with Fred as the holding midfielder, Fernandes box-to-box and Mata AM. Against Wolves that should be an easy decision for the line-up.

James left, Greenwood right (if not injured), Martial in the middle. If Greenwood injured i guess we go with Periera right.

Welcome Bruno. Now to put you straight in the starting line up against Wolves

You would think the “bonuses” are probably easily attainable and whack up his wage a good bit because 70k seems quite low for a footballer now a days.

If it flat 70 then brilliant but I‘d suspect it’s easily over 100k.

Chances of him starting on Sunday I wonder? With Matic out we'll need him to play with Fred & Pereira I guess.

Seems like much nicer person than Suarez, not expecting Bruno to bite anybody or racially abuse people… But if he scores as much as Suarez - would not mind that part :)

Would be epic if he played on Sunday (starter or sub) and scored/assisted a hat trick, like Haaland at Dortmund :) But we also need to be very patient in case he's one of the players who needs some time to adapt. Hopefully not as much time as Fred needed, but he may need some time and we can't start trashing him if he's not brilliant in his very first games.

@ash_86 post I can’t wait to see him play for us but I also feel so bad for @SportingCP96 @Smashin and other Sporting fans :( Hopefully your club will rise again soon!
They weren’t rising when they had him though. This could get them four players or more?
He's not a 10. He's a midfielder.
Hearing that makes me think we should have grabbed Erikson. But Graelish or Maddison in the summer makes more sense long term.
Naw, I just think he’s really well groomed and under a light
he was asking if the agent was Bruno wearing a wig cause they look the same

Anyone know what he was on at Sporting?

He signed a new contract in 2019 so he was making around 2M€/year after tax, or 177k € /month.

So if he's making 70k pounds per week now... thats around twice as much, 4M€.

God damn Pereira is not the best on any single aspect, feck me

Lingard is terible, but Pereira is also on the same level.
Why has Ole or any of our coaches not picked up on this and stopped using these players in the first team?
They can't all be this incompetent? Can they?

I’m so fecking excited

feck the fickle fans, feck any other negativity swirling around right now. I’m here to support the club and team through thick and thin. And with that said, he will probably need to adapt, as will the team, there might be the odd bad games in these first 6-12 months sure, but I ain’t interested in hearing any internet dweeb criticism.

I just can not wait to witness bruno balling out when he’s on song.

He's not a 10. He's a midfielder.
Except he is not. More of a goal scoring attacking midfielder who picks the space behind the striker.

And quite average as CM.
