Bruno Fernandes: Manchester United Player

I’m so fecking excited

feck the fickle fans, feck any other negativity swirling around right now. I’m here to support the club and team through thick and thin. And with that said, he will probably need to adapt, as will the team, there might be the odd bad games in these first 6-12 months sure, but I ain’t interested in hearing any internet dweeb criticism.

I just can not wait to witness bruno balling out when he’s on song.

Let me buy you a pint man!

Refreshing to hear an actual fan, we should start a forum... wait

Think he's gone for #25 or #27. Kohler has teased his number on their official Twitter page.
I hate it when first team players go with numbers higher than 24. Just doesn't look or feel right.

Im calling it now, it will be #35, I had a dream about it so it must be true

Im pretty sure I read something like that on Diogo Dalot.
Yeah it sounds a bit OTT, and knowing reddit it's probably a copypasta. From what ive read on portuguese news sites comments section, they are happy with the deal and wishing him well, both fans and rivals. Some trolling by suggesting it still wasn't done, but no one seems to expect him to bust.

Great to see this finally confirmed. It was needed a lot earlier, but at least we finally got it done as opposed to missing out. I'm excited to see him play as he's a player in a position that we badly needed. I definitely can't say I've seen very much of him at all so I've no idea how much of a success he's likely to turn out. But I live in hope!

Good luck to him. Big things will be expected from him, hopefully he turns out to be worth it in the end.

Kohler is definitely showing twenty something on his shirt. Unless theyve got it wrong or doing it on purpose.

Couldn't be happier. Wanted this fella for about 18 months now and it's great to finally sign him so he doesn't go in the one that got away book. There's nothing worse than thinking someone could be perfect for the club and he doesn't come. Really looking forward to seeing what he can do at a higher level. Think he's going to be a fantastic signing for us. EXCITED

Dalot was never anything to be excited about, really. The guy had played 6 - six - first team games for Porto before we paid £20m for him. Mental at the time. Mental now.

The best bit of this transfer is the wages we negotiated(70K week with a bit of performance bonuses). I think finally our guys learned how to negotiate.
It's a joke that players like Lingard, Rojo gets 80K and Jones on 120K per week. This has to change if we want to see club in right direction.

Has this been confirmed bu reputable sources? To me it sounds like net wages which would be about right.

I was thinking the #7 could be good then I remembered Alexis has that number and he is coming back to surprise us all next season.

No, as to my knowledge he doesn't possess a time machine.

He can, however, play in the Europa League. Yes, feel free to call me a twat.

ha ha let you off as you did make me laugh out loud !
Uefa / Europa it’s all bollocks anyway . Just a stepping stone to champs lge again hopefully

There's no history of him wearing #25 or #27 so it would be surprising for him to choose either number.

He has worn #16 frequently for Portugal, but United may be reluctant to strip Rojo of it soon (same with other numbers belonging to players out on loan).

Surely the logical number to take is #18? Similar number to his favoured #8 which he could choose to inherit from Mata in the future.

Yes the logical number would be #18. Think he may had worn the #25 while playing in Italy. The reason i think it could be #25 is purely the teaser in the Kohler video. And yes I think when Mata leaves he will switch to #8

Lingard is terible, but Pereira is also on the same level.
Why has Ole or any of our coaches not picked up on this and stopped using these players in the first team?
They can't all be this incompetent? Can they?
The issue has always been who to play instead. Mata is the only option at 10 and he has no energy for a press.

Clearly something is up with Gomes otherwse he'd have been an option but he's had less chances than Chong. I do wonder if the step up to the 1st team training has taken him back a step as it can be a lot more physical than he's been used to. If he's been getting battered in training I could totally understand him not being given his chance. It's clear to see from Williams that he can handle himself and anyone else that might get in his way
