Burnley v Manchester United

No Fletch and no Berb? feck.

Only one of the front six from Sunday's match. That's some hefty earlyseason rotation.

I know its against Burnley, but not too confident with that lineup tbh. I hope Carrick and Anderson both wake up tonight and realise that pre-season is over.

Good seeing Giggs start mind you, I love watching him play :)

Its a good team considering our absentees. Evans, Brown and Neville are ok. I assume we arent taking any chances with Nani's shoulder this time around.

We should have enough quality to beat them provided that our players perform at their true level.

If that team doesn't beat Burnley then something is really wrong. Some people are acting like Fergie is in the bloody line-up.

So anyhow Berba or Owen? Who starts, cause it's really mixed reports around here.

Where is Nani?
He needed a rest.

We should win with Burnley with Park, Giggs and Valencia on the bench, shouldn't we? Nani need a break, he was injuried. Better to have him for 90 minutes at JJB than one half today and one hald on Saturday.

Although that fact that streams N E V E R appear until very near kick off escapes people aswell. whats the point in asking now

not even listed yet

That's what I don't get.

I'm on a stream that is live at the moment, says it'll play the game in half an hour and seems pretty stable.

I'm expecting PMs...

Last league meeting.

Burnley 0-2 Man Utd, 3 Dec 2002
Man Utd: Carroll, Phil Neville, May, Brown, Silvestre, Chadwick, Stewart (Scholes 58), O'Shea, Pugh, Forlan (Giggs 76), van Nistelrooy (Solskjaer 45).
Subs Not Used: Ricardo, Roche.
Man Utd scorers: Forlan 35, Solskjaer 65

Erm.....Burnley havent been in the top division in 33 years.....

Confirmed line up for those who missed it:

Foster
O'Shea Brown Evans Evra
Park Carrick Anderson Giggs
Rooney Owen

Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Berbatov, Scholes, Valencia, Gibson, De Laet.

I keep saying we should just have a sticky where people can request streams. Otherwise 30% of the posts over here are just stream requests, starting half an hour before kickoff.

Another 30% are line-ups requests.

Thanks, mate.

Strong line up. The only thing that worries me is the Carrick-Ando partnership. Hope we do well and control possession.

borussia dortmund plays against real madrid right now. ronaldo plays. should line up tonight against burnley though

pretty please you wonderful people, please can someone PM me a link for the match today.

So Owen starts.Guess SAF wants to prove a point plus a good team to get owens confidence up.

Just to say when I get one of my good feelings - we win. I'm thinking we'll score 4 tonight. Put all your money on it! cheers

Seems it's not as strong as some people hoped. Talking about it on Sky Sports and Le Tissier has Burnley down as winning tonight. This eleven is still strong enough to win here tonight and by a good few goals.

Man Utd (4-2-3-1) Foster; O'Shea, Evans, Brown, Evra; Carrick, Anderson; Park, Rooney, Giggs; Owen.
Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Berbatov, Scholes, Valencia, Gibson, De Laet.

according to the guardian

sorry just noticed someone else posted, my bad

gotta be honest its a bit surprising. I would have thought SAF would have wanted Berba to get off to a flyer and let Owen keep coming off the bench and get him going that way. Berba seems like a confidence player and I thought he would be given a few games in a row to get into a groove.

Le Tissier is a complete feckwit if he has Burnley down as winning on the basis of our team selection. Yeah, we could lose, we could lose any game, but that side is still better than most of the Premiership and Burnley.

Only think worrying about that is the fact the defence is without Rio, Vidic and VDS and even then there are still proven players in that back four.

The front four and the midfield is full of quality and should be more than enough to see off Burnley. You do you think Burnley fancy controlling Giggs and Rooney?
