Bursaspor Kulübü Derneği vs. Manchester United

as far as Nani's injury i think he felt a tweek and didnt want to risk it. SAF was laughing after the injury when scholes missed his shot, dont think he would be so gleeful if nani was seriously injured.

just my take on things

Some of you lot are going on like Nani's fecked for months. Could be nothing serious at all

Cant belive Fergie played Nani, it was set in the stars he would get injured in a match like this.

Must say i wanted him left behind totally for tonight, not really his type of match and given the games weve got coming up and his non stop game in game out performances i thought tonight would have been an ideal opportunity to rest him, i worried he would get injured and he has, and if its serious were pretty fecked as an attacking force to be honest given the list hes joining.

We need something to happen down our right wing. Evra is causing a lot of problems for them down the left. We need Obertan to step it up.

the pea would destroy those defenders,,,if he came on now hed score 3

Typical European away performance... we're lacking cutting edge, but Bursa hardly ever troubled us, horrendous mistakes by Van der Sar and Evra aside. I can see us sneaking a 1-0 win, Chicha to score the winner :smirk:

More concerned about Nani's injury, ffs what the hell is wrong at the moment with all those injuries :(

Scholes has been great too.

I think Berba is drifting wide too often. We need a goal threat. More running into the box from Fletcher and Scholes too.

He always does that when he plays alone up front. If Fletcher had scored people would be saying he's done well up front on his own, maybe not yourself but others.

Fact is we arent a team with lots of regular goalscorers other than our strikers and Nani, so we need our striker in the box scoring goals

Wow, you lot love a moan don't ya?

Not a bad AWAY performance imo, very professional. For those slagging off Carrick and Obertan... Carrick has played well, and Obertan hasn't been so bad, a few miss placed passes that's all.

In short, get a fecking grip of yourselves.

Finally some sense.

I forgot about there being officials behind the goal, that explains how Scholes' handball was seen.

Didn't really pay attention to the half, expected it to be dross with the system we were playing i.e. 4-5-1 with Berba up front which doesn't equate to goals... but this is clearly going to plan for Fergie.

Let Bursa tire themselves out and then put the pea on and grab the victory in the last 20 minutes. Berba and the rest have played their role well, just need to step up the gears now in the second.

Evra made a bad mistake in the first half and that almost cost us dearly. He is known for making these silly mistakes from time to time.

Nick 10,000 posts more than me.. that extra month really counted for something huh

I think this is a good summary Ekeke. Without Nani, Rooney and Chicharito, the goals will be limited. I think we have played well in possession though.

Obertan looks more frustrating than a poor and out of form Nani...

I tried to count and it was like 10 passes that he just gave away... Yes under pressure but your a winger and a bit of dribbling/skills should get you out or at least get a throw in... He is just too scared to dribble it.

I know it has been a boring match, but this is a typical away performance in CL group stage for us. Calm down.

Ah I know Tony but I'm thinking more if our long term ( and recurrent) injuries has me worried ....

2 fecking CL finals and probably a third if it wasn't for a silly red card....

That's Bursa, not Barca. Valencia stuffed them with 4, they haven't yet scored in their debut CL appearance. We should have the upper hand, not defend just because it's an away fixture..

It's not the end of the world but that game plan is too negative to my likening..

Some strikers prefer to operate in the room between the fullbacks and the center backs. RvN was really good at it.

Listen to Sharky you lot instead of those moaning commentators.

Considering the cauldron of those Turkish grounds we're playing fine.

Second half will be different...always is.

Get them fecking ball jugglers siigned up of the adverts
