The kind of situation you just know Ruud, Rooney or Berbatov, or even Tevez had he been on that side would have been in position to tap home. Giggs rarely seems to think like a goal poacher because he's not.

I think Carrick has been superb, easily our best player on the ball tonight, Vididc has also been solid. Tevez needs to play further up the pitch, we have noone troubling their centre halfs.
I actually think we are quite weak on corners however that looks the most likely way we're going to score at the moment.
Our fullbacks have been a definite weakness tonight and it is obvious that we are missing Evra as an attacking threat, Rafael looks good going forward but very dodgy defensively.

It's fecking Celtic. Not Barcelona. Not Milan. Celtc. It boggles the mind. They play in Scotland and should be treated as if they were Spurs or Villa.
Rafael has been VERY suspect at the back... Carrick has looked to be our best player. However, Ronaldo has also played very well, looked dangerous whenever he's on the ball. Nani has put in some good balls, made some bad decisions. Other than that, they just are keeping a lot of players behind the ball.
I remember how their spastic fans went ape shit when they beat United on the US tour. Imagine if they win a meaningful match.

Are people forgetting some of the performances Celtic have put on at home in the Champions League the last few seasons. Not a great half but there is a bit of an overreaction. Their crowd has been great as well.
