Friday 26 July 2013, (11:00 BST)
Osaka Nagai Stadium
Osaka, Japan
Official blah....
The match, sponsored by global club partner Yanmar, will take place on Friday 26 July at the Osaka Nagai Stadium. And with more than 4million United followers in Japan, the team can expect passionate support and an electrifying atmosphere.
Yanmar, Japan’s leading engineering company, has a longstanding relationship with Japanese football and is delighted to be hosting the Yanmar Premium Cup match in Osaka.
Manchester United chief executive David Gill said:
"We first visited Japan more than 20 years ago and our fans have always shown great support for the club. We are all looking forward to returning and playing a great game against Cerezo Osaka, which will allow us to prepare for the 2013/14 season.
"The 2013 Tour, presented by Aon, will also allow the club to engage with our loyal Japanese fans, as well as work with our family of commercial partners."
Cerezo Osaka president Masao Okano said:
"We at Cerezo are proud to join the Yanmar Premium Cup. Our club and the city of Osaka is happy to bring this match with Manchester United to the fans in Osaka. We will promise to play our best for victory and to show the premium match to all the fans over the world."
Aon is delighted to be the presenting partner of Manchester United’s 2013 Tour, offering its
expertise in risk management, insurance, reinsurance brokerage and human resources solutions.
Aon president and chief executive officer Greg Case said:
"Being chosen by Manchester United as the presenting partner for its 2013 tour is further demonstration of the strength of our relationship. This is a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate how our global partnership provides value for our clients, colleagues and communities, and it will show our clients and prospects, particularly in Asia, how the issues we help them with, such as risk management or health care, are equally relevant and important in the world of business and the world of sport."

Rules for the game:

- Camera is allowed to focus only Kagawa.
- Players of Osaka are forced to stay at least 5 yards far from Kagawa.
- In case a penalty is accorded for United, Kagawa must shoot it. In case he doesn't score, the penalty is repeated until he scores.
- The golden goal is turned back on rules. If Kagawa scores (regardless in which minute and what is the result), United win automatically.
- Kagawa will get the cup and all the medals, regardless of the final result.

Between, what about the logo. Will we also called Newton Heath for this match?

Played our first pre-season game... weren't quite ready for it yet and lost. Played our second, were in better shape and won easily with a strong performance.

Played our third pre-season game against a much higher calibre of opponent... weren't quite ready for it yet and lost.

Hopefully with half a week more training under out belts (and another match's worth of vital experience for the youngsters), we'll repeat the pattern and beat Osaka, or at least put in a good performance, which is the most important thing.

The most important thing is that we play 2-4-1-3 with an inverted false 4 and a deep lying inhibited 2. As long as we press hard when switching overlaps we will be looking good.

We need david moyes to stamp his authority, if we win then David Moyes will have to hump each and every single players leg until they submit to him. its the only way.

Maybe that was the problem and explains why we let the match slip by us in Yokohama. We did win the previous match in Oz...

This is going to be another game where we just watch kagawa run about again isn't it. Only time we will actually see the game is a replay of a goal or if kagawa has the ball

Don't worry guys, already found a stream showing all the action from the game.

So if Kagawa starts in the hole, and Zaha is to his left, who goes to his right, Lingard or Januzaj? Both had difficult games last time, but Lingard still nabbed a goal (meaning he now has three on tour), and Januzaj an assist.

I'd put on Lingard myself, and sub Januzaj on for him with 30 mins left to play or so.

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Smalling Buttner
Carrick Cleverley
Zaha Kagawa Young
Van Persie

What I'm guessing we'll start with, expect to see a lot of changes though at half time.

He should already be gone imo.
