Champions League Final 2016 - 28/05

Looking forward to a feisty encounter  Too bad Atletico don’t have as big cnuts as Diego Costa was/is.

Did Ronaldo ignore Richard Gere there after he said 'perfect' ? Gere was mumbling something about his sons and Ronaldo was like nope let me talk to this woman.

Was Richard Gere in the Ronaldo film? If not, that's probably why Ronaldo has no clue as to who he is.

I'd rather meet the fake Nick Cage than the hamster-lover to be perfectly honest.

I just realised it's already been 8 years since we last won the cup

It's been far too long.
Barca spoiled our party. That and us being naive in thinking we could beat them at their own game.

Could have been five.

Have a feeling Real will win. Would be a shame because the work Simeone's done with Atleti over the past 3-4 years has been phenomenal and to crown it all with a CL win would be fitting.

They shouldn't have even have been in the 2009 final. Chelsea got robbed in the semi final by the ref

If Atleti take the lead this time I hope Simeone tries to go for a 2nd, otherwise can see a late Ramos header coming again.

I just hope Ronaldo won't be positioned upfront. I hated that while he played for us.

TBH, I don't care who'll win it today. After Simeone ordered that kid to throw a ball onto the pitch to stop a counter, he's making me sick. On the other hand, it's always nice to see Real being slapped.

Is there any chance Zidane will get sacked if he loses? Might have to support real just so they don't sack him as he likes Navas

Hope Ronaldo absolutely tears them apart. Another CL medal for Ronnie!

I'm the opposite. Hope he never wins another trophy to be honest.

Atletico always look so confident playing against Real, going off their contests domestically I think Atletico will lift the trophy.

This final will be decided by who scores first. If Real scores first, Atletico will have to open up and gaps will apear. Real Madrid are still the best counter attacking side, at least amongst the top sides in Europe. If Atletico score first, Real Madrid will be in a lot of trouble because they are very poor with possession due to their weak position play and the way the team is organised.

A very strong area for Real is the set pieces. They have 3 set piece specialists in the air in Ramos, Ronald and Bale, whilst Atletico only really have Godin. It would be the most ironic situation were Real Madrid to defeat Atletico through a set piece. Atleticos advantage in that area has dropped. They scored 30+ set piece goals in the last 3 seasons where as this season, it has dropped to less than 18 iirc. It will be a very tactical battle for sure.

Simeone told a ballboy to throw a ball on the pitch to stop an attack? Just another reason to hate the vile cnut.

Hala Madrid.

Only Gabi as an air specialist? That Godin fella seems to pop up with header goals too.

I don't really care but always end up wanting Real to win in Spain.

I chose (kinda) watching this over going to the Montrose Music Festival. Doubtlessly I'll regret it.
