Champions League Final 2016 - 28/05

Thought it was a yellow card but really close. One more tackle and he's off.

Nah, I hate Ramos with a passion but that was a yellow all day. Perfectly "timed" tackle to stop an almost sure goal. Made sure he wasn't last man or that the foul wasn't too dangerous or petulant. Just like Herrera vs Everton.

Nowadays if you don't play like Barcelona or Bayern, you don't play great football.

I don't know about that but Atletico were pedestrian at times. Several times the guy on the ball was standing literally still with no one to pass to. Reminded me of us this last season.

Red not based on the situation but on the nature of the tackle itself.

I don't think the foul was that bad. Yes it was a scissor but the impact wasnt bad and he was very close to getting the ball.

Keeping Ronaldo on the pitch is beyond stupid. He's not only relatively useless out there, he's also visible injured and it looks like it has actually gotten worse. Stupid idea by Zidane to waste all of his substitutions.

Considering what could've happened the with this being the last attack of the CL final and a potential 3v1 situation a yellow is lucky for Ramos there. But obviously that's just due to context, due to the laws of the game, no matter the occasion or the time of the game it's clearly only a yellow! Clattenburg couldn't really give anything else than a yellow. Harsh, but if anything the rulebook is at fault here.

Gut says Real. Don't know why, cos a lot of them look shattered ... Modrich to score.

Atleti improving was the main difference in the second half. Madrid's coasted since scoring, given up the ball easily, and just relied on Atleti being too reactive to do something about it. Let's see what happens now. Finally interesting.

Yep, but not a clear one. Yellow was correct imo, but borderline red due to the tackle itself.

Bad tackle, annihilition of an opportunity, tramp stamp, plays for Real Madrid. He should be out.

That guy who just got rejected by his beautiful girlfriend when he tried to kiss her on the cheek should concentrate on the game.

Imagine the tantrum he would throw if he got subbed though

I like when people praises simeone teams and complains about chelsea's win

Not that I’d have complained, but there’s no comparison to be made. Atletico has had more possession than Real tonight, played an entertaining 2nd half.

Would be good if Clattenburg keeps this lucky yellow in his mind and gives Ramos a second yellow for his next foul.

Whenever I expect Atletico to play a sideways pass they always try to get the ball forward.

I have been watching us for too long.
