Champions League QFs (11th - 19th April)

Since when did Gareth Bale saunter around the pitch without a care in the world? What a lazy performance.

Good game so far, not a penalty but Vidal was so fair to shoot the ball into the Isar :D

Atletico 1-0 Leicester (Griezmann pen)

Can someone explain why Muller wasn't taking the penalty, given how ridiculously good he's at them?

NEVER a penalty, whats happening today... 3 shocking calls. Martinez and Bayern's midfield pressing are pretty impressing so far.

He's had a few of these in big games.

Very reminiscent of his no show at the Nou Camp in 2015.

He missed a crucial penalty against Atletico a year ago and his form's been poor for the most part in the past year.

The order always has been Müller, Lewandowski and Vidal as far as I remember. Then Müller missed some in a row, and ever since then it is Lewandowski, Vidal. Also Vidal has been a safe bet for Penalties.

Bayern have the best midfield in the world.

Will Lewa be available for leg 2? They do miss him.

So I am about to go hunting for a stream for one of the two matches, which one do you recommend?

Was really looking forward to this game but it's not the same without Lewandowski and Ronaldo.

Vidal doing a Ramos with a furious header....Check
Vidal doing a Ramos by skyrocketting a Penalty....Check
...please do not do a Ramos by getting a red card :D

Did anyone outside of the Midlands hate Leicester pre last season?
Some United fans (me included) didn't like them for Vardy's blatant cheating in the 5-3, but other than that not really.

Was it a pen. in Atletico - Leicester?

Well it was a foul, but it did occur outside the box.

However, I recall a similar situation when Demichelis fouled Messi during a CL tie back in 2013-2014. Contact was outside the box, but the fall carried over inside the box. There was something in the rule book that deemed it being acceptable for a pen to be called then.

The foul today was exactly like that. I don't know if that rule was amended or not, but I remember someone on here posting it.

Bayern 1-0 Real Madrid (Vidal pen miss)
Pen Incident - Vidal blasts it over :wenger:

I found Vardy to dive and foul quite often even after that. Was genuinely disappointed when they won the league.

Also, I only saw 1 replay but it looks like the foul continued inside the box? That would be a penalty.

The sooner video technology is introduced the better.
