Champions League QFs (11th - 19th April)

CRISTIANOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That penalty will cost us the tie, you heard it here first.

There he goes, never write him off

Almost glad Vidal fecked up the pen, was a joke.

And it's blatantly obvious that Carlo had no plans that included Müller for that match. Simply putting him in for Lewa was never going to work.

I did, but that's mainly due to not knowing how to pronounce their name.
Hehe. Hairy muff. I'm rather sad in that I quite like it when football fans can temporarily halt the tribalism and unite around a single cause in support of an underdog. Leicester sort of became that for a bit though that's largely dissipated since sacking Ranieri.

Well it was a foul, but it did occur outside the box.

However, I recall a similar situation when Demichelis fouled Messi during a CL tie back in 2013-2014. Contact was outside the box, but the fall carried over inside the box. There was something in the rule book that deemed it being acceptable for a pen to be called then.

The foul today was exactly like that. I don't know if that rule was amended or not, but I remember someone on here posting it.

What? Do you mean the foul continued into the box instead of the fall? If the foul like a trip is outside the box, no penalty, if a foul starts outside the box like a shirt pull and continues into the box then pelanty

Great finish from ronny. They needed that as Bayern were by far the better side in the first half.

Nice finish by Ronaldo but if he was playing for us, that would have gone straight through between his legs.

Real Madrid could have the worst team they have had in years and they would still be capable of winning a Champions League

I wish we could be that good....
