Champions League QFs (11th - 19th April)

There was some barca fan today that was trying to persuade me Jordi Alba is better than Marcelo and Felipe Luiz

I would give my right bollock to have a player like Robben here in his prime. One of the best wingers there's ever been.

Bayern finally get a goal after being so wasteful in the first half. Should be ahead in the tie by now, they just need to keep calm and not be too open at the back. They'll win if they stay in control of their nerves.

It's incredible that Marcelo is only 28. Feels like he's been around at the top level forever

Watching Leicester, Chilwell at left back (now wing back) is a good player. Not watched much of him previously.

That art comes with the Real Madrid job, just have to look at Ramos

Player who was sent off most times in La Liga history or somewhere close to that?

Vidal should have been off too.

Great end-to-end stuff, not one quiet stint so far. Ronaldo's overall game is very average, but as long as he keeps scoring, he's an asset to Real.

Can see this going to overtime as Bayern look really dangerous and I doubt Real will go scoreless from this game.
Love the intensity and individual skill as well, really shows how far off the pace the top English teams are.

On an unrelated note does no manager know how to tie a tie? Zidane looking so ridiculous.

Real Madrid 0-1 Bayern (Lewandowski)
Pen incident - Lewa from the spot 0:1

What a chance for Vidal

Yeah, and still he hasn't been sent off as much as he should.

Some perks come with the gig at great clubs, like Mascherano getting away with a penalty every game since he started playing CB

Depends. If he squanders 3 chances due to wanting the goal himself rather than making the obvious pass, seeing his one (penalty) goal in a match wouldn't be that much an assett
