His offball movement is too good & he doesn't get the ball & dribbles that much these day. Man marking a forward is not simple since Ronaldo is very fast for even that fastest defender to contain. A wrong move marking Ronaldo would mean you break your own defensive shape & Ronaldo needs not to be at the end of the pass to influence the play.
