Champions League QFs (11th - 19th April)

Isn't Robben leaving Bayern at the end of the season, or did he sign a new contract? I'd take him on a free in a heart beat.

Hoped for real. Now I want Bayern through. Disgusting.

Bayern are no doubt a stronger team than Madrid. There's no doubt in my mind. They've been absolutely robbed tonight. Ref had his hand in his pocket to send off Casimero but thought twice.

Impressive performance by Hummels & Boateng. Both went into the game injured and Boateng has a serious limp since the 55th minute or so.

30 more minutes for them, gonna be hell.

It makes no difference. Impossible to even tell even if he does touch him first or not. There's no chance that split nanosecond (if that) changes anything for any of them.

Tbh, I'm split over it. I'm not certain either way.

Anyway, I think, like I said before - that in real time, its a very hard decision and it probably looked like a yellow card.

Referees doing all they can at the minute to speed up the introduction of video technology.

I can't believe Casemiro is still on the pitch. Zidane is playing with fire. And what for?

Until video technology is implemented at the highest level, football will remain a flawed game.

It's going to be so much harder to be out after a game like this... for both sides.

Robbed how? The penalty was soft and Vidal could and should have been sent off before that tackle. They've got a bit lucky with Casimero, but thats it.

A fully fit Lewa would never come off in such a decisive game. A fully fit Lewa and the first leg would've been so much differently

Yeah, definetly. That game, as well as this one, was very entertaining for us who are neutral. This leg will go to history - as usual when it comes to legs between Bayern and Real:drool: Although, just like the first leg, your momentum has shifted because of the sent off. And it is a big shame that this sending off was completely incorrect.

Casemiro needs to get sent off, otherwise i don't really see a chance for Bayern.

Yes, he does that by getting to the ball before Asensio. "Touching someone" is not a foul.

What I'm arguing is he makes contact with Asensio before he gets the ball. I don't know the ruling on this. That's why I am saying (or should have said if I haven't conveyed this properly) that I'm not sure. In real time though, it's an extremely hard decision for the ref and it probably looks like a foul.

I don't think Bayern should be playing that high, Madrid can destroy them in the counter and even if they get ahead that's 20+ minutes of Madrid attacking in the Bernabeu vs 10

With one man down Bayern just needs to survive now though, especially with 2 players not fit (Boateng and Hummels).
Yes, but they started the ET with more possession, and going forward. It looks like they are looking for the killer.

Real, BTW, is lacking intensity at the moment.

Casemiro should have been sent off first but Vidal gets sent off for a non-existent foul. Sounds like robbery to me

UEFA refs give so many favourable decisions to Spanish sides. Leicester too are going out but it should be 1-1 on aggregate
Eh. Schmeichel's trip on Carrasco should have been a clear penalty. Not to mention Mahrez was extremely lucky to remain on the pitch after that studs challenge on Saul.

let's not forget Lewandowski was clearly onside and through on goal with Marcelo playing him on. Assistant ref was right next to Marcelo as well. This game stinks of some corruption
